What Queen?
I surely hope you don't mean you're comparing the Beatles to the band Queen.....................noway

I suppose if both bands had a "magnum opus", for Queen it would be Bohemian Rhapsody, and for the Beatles it would be I am the Walrus.
I have never been able to stand "Rhapsody" - for me it is pretentious nonsense. On the other hand "I am the Walrus" is one of the most incredible songs ever produced. And if you like "Walrus", there is a Dutch band called The Analogues who play it live! You will find it on Youtube - it is quite magnificent!

Queen! No doubt about it.
I wasn't even born when The Beatles gained international success. And they broke up before I was even 4 yrs old.
So yes, I know them and their music, but not like Queen. I grew up with Queen. In the 80s -when I was a teen- they were epic. They were contemporary, of that time, while The Beatles' music basically was old music.

Maybe it has to do with age which you like best. And maybe Queen wasn't as popular in the US.

And to be honest, I don't think you can compare any two icons from a different era.

I'm Gunna vote for The Beatles.
I listen to both and enjoy the music from The Beatles more.
Plus, The Beatles had influence on many of the musicians I listen to.

During their heyday, I didn't really care much for them, I liked The Monkees.
I didn't really care for John Lennon's solo music but I did respect his message. Paul McCarthy had some really good songs with the Wings.
As time progressed and The Beatles lost public focus, I started liking them more. For a long time I couldn't recognize some of their songs as THEIR songs.
I can let some of their albums play, some I pick & choose

I find Queen strange but interesting in their musical style. I like fewer songs by Queen than by The Beatles. I can recognize a Queen song when I hear it tho. I find it difficult to play a whole album by Queen. I pick & choose.
I've always been off-trend tho.

Of the two bands, neither is what I would consider a favorite. Both have playlist songs which fit particular playlists tho. Call it sporatic listenings.
Much like how I listen to Supertramp and many others.

My collection is as follows:

The Beatles
16 Albums
250 Songs
11.6 Hours

Queen
24 Albums
286 Songs
25.3 Hours (Including Full Concerts and Full Albums in one file)

I've done "We Are the Champions" on stage. It was grand!! An honour to sing such an epic song.
If memory serves my friend from the UK -who's a professional singer & entertainer- helped me with backing so get a fuller sound. I always loved being on stage with him as well as with the band. (My ex was the drummer, one of the best drummers ever.)

I like both, but, the Beatles, all the way
I don't like all of Queens albums
The Beatles, never did a bad album, even what you may consider to be their worst album, is probably better than most peoples best album

This question is most often put, as, the Beatles or the stones
People who pick the stones often say that they're better live. But I feel that is unfair. There's little footage of the Beatles live, and If you do find some, it's ruined by screaming, which is pretty much why they said that they stopped playing live.
Apart from that, I would give the same answer as above. The stones were a singles band, who have done loads of bad albums

I'd have to go with The Beatles. I hear them everywhere. There are too many songs I like.

Of course the Beatles. These four guys from Liverpool are inspirations for many bands all over the world. Even Freddy Mercury was a big fan of the Beatles and Lennon. Pink Floyd is also influenced by the Beatles, and there are many more musicians inspired/influenced by the Beatles such as Dave Grohl, Nirvana, Billy Joel, Bee Gees, and I believe many more.

If I could only choose one song from among their music -and never listen to any of the others again -it would likely be "Under Pressure" -which is at least mostly a Queen song.

Can I just puncture my eardrums with
with an icepick?

I'm no fan of Queen.
But, I'd rather be deaf, than have to
hear the Beatles.

I pick my very favorite music by the goose bump test -even though I might like other stuff for one reason or another.

Some songs never fail to give me goose bumps.

The way too short guitar solo in "We Will Rock You", for example. Literally every time.

Besides.... they made people feel ok for being attracted to all different kinds of people -they were liking big butts and not lying way before it was cool
