Love (force)
*times* Life (mass) *equals* Weight of a human soul I guess. |

I traded mine for a Cherry Coke, and a pack of Winston's.
I'm aware of a study from about thirty years ago, the researchers noted that in the passing from life into death, their test subject lost about one pound during the moment of passing. PBS is the only source I can cite. Thirty years, I don't recall the name of the program. Perhaps, the soul weighs one pound. Perhaps, it weighs nothing. |

Magical thinking aside ...Show me that the soul exists ...
Weight change at death seems to be a flawed variable . |

ego shadows the soul

What an odd question. I wonder why you asked that.
The soul is huge, but is has no solid form, it's energy. |

I have no idea.

It seems most sensible that it is weightless. Itβs only the people who try to define it in blood that you have to watch out for.

Since the person I had previously traded my soul to,
won't ever be able able to collect. Would it be legit, if I trade my soul again? This time, for a whole beef brisket. |

That is measured by their positive impact on reality.
;o) |

What a soul searching inquiry.
I'll have to empty my belly-button lint and ponder that for a long while. |

That is measured by their positive impact on reality. ;o) Sounds like the purpose of life to me. |

You know the old philosophers made up the thought of the soul.
When they were trying to understand how the world worked, when they through the planet rode on the back of a giant turtle that carried the earth around the sun, and the fundamental principle of things. There were many schools of thought regarding the soul, the notable among the two are the materialist and the non-materialistic (it's been a while since i read those books). All the same you can guess how this debate went. The materialistic claimed that we are flesh and bone and when we die, we become nothing, but the others postulated (with no evidence at all), that souls must exist. After a series of debates (which the material is still available to read, naturally you won't get your hand on the original documents, but their translations are available), they decided to conclude that souls exist and humans are more than flesh. After more discussions they postulate, not only must souls exist (at the point they thought everything was composed of aer or some ethereal substance), but that it was an immortal an indestructible thing. My opinion on the matter... I haven't any idea the weight of a human soul, but those old guys were sure weird, and we much the same for believing all the things they set as truth. |
