Are they other men like me who prefer to be with a woman who is in charge in the relationship?
What about women? Are they any women who prefer to be in charge in the relationship? And I mean it in a serious long lasting relationship...

I am always in favour of shared responsibilities. Equally shared duties. But then ... I wanna be in charge of the cooking | |

lol... I love cooking as well.
But I believe that even if a woman is sin charge in the relationship, things are still equal as the man would deliberately allow his partner to take control...

      Well, yuck.
I want to be clubbed over the head and dragged off.

| Well, yuck. I want to be clubbed over the head and dragged off. Isn't that the opening scene of Mel Brooks 'History of the World'? | |

And I mean it in a serious long lasting relationship... Like Larsi666 said, I too am in favor of equality, shared duties... Whatever one of good at and enjoys more, let them do that...f**k "gender roles".. Some men love to cook and bake...some women love tinkering with auto otive things...etc.. I *do* know I have no desire for a domineering, alpha, cocky, "I know what needs to be done, let me run things/ men must be the head of the household" guy..NOPE. I know some women here like that type thing, and, that's fine for them....we are all different, and like/ want different things...

I like things to be equal, both doing different things or in a different way because one is a man and the other is a woman.
But no one in charge of everything, nope. I wouldn't want a man who cannot make decisions, has no opinion and so on. Been there in the past, which means that I then have to take charge of everything otherwise nothing happens. That puts me in a different energy (masculine) which I do not like. And it causes me to begin to disrespect the man, which is the beginning of the end of the relationship.

Uh, dude, in case you haven't noticed, women have been in charge since the the dawn of time. Men just think they are.

      i norm try to cut everything 50 / 50
all the good ideas of the 50 go to her and the bad 50 go to me : ) lol but i was all ways looking for an equal partner for a relationship wanted a lady that would battle with me , not againt's me <shrug> i never looked for a controller or leader or docile for that matter

| Are you serious? go along with anything? Don't bother? good way to loose their respect. I agree... My sons' father was like that. Good caring man but didn't have a mind of his own and put me on a pedestal. I eventually lost respect for him and being on a pedestal was really bothersome. I prefer an equal partnership... both having an opinion and deciding together on decisions that need to be made. | |

well i see the woman, as a stake holder in the relationship, if you love her, she gets to dictate some aspects of your life

The woman runs the household; the man secures it financially and physically.
What do I know? | |
