I am a clinical microbiologist and totally agree. I'm curious if the free clinic she is going to for testing is doing a thorough workup for STD. AIDS is not the only thing there is to worry about. Chlamydia, Syphillis, GC, Herpes, Genital Warts, Hepatisis B and C are only a few off the top of my head. As I said in this previous post. Just make sure it is a comprehensive "testing". Also know that HIV can be dormant for years before you/he tests positive. So even if you/he test negative, the virus can still be transmitted. NOW she is speechless??? |

I took health class in school thank you very much... I know how to take care of my self, not to mention the fact he might be one of 2 or 3 I've NOT used condoms AND VCFs with. I usually use BOTH even after they've been tested. Wow, you people really are tryin to act like you know somethin about me. I've DATED A LOT more guys than I've slept with. I'm not promiscuous, I'm not a dumb little hoe who's tryin to catch anything, I'm not tryin to trap anybody with anything, and I'm sure as hell not stupid when it comes to takin care of my sister's son. That boy is all we got left of her and he is cherished and loved by me and my mother more than any of you can possibly imagine! |

so are you pregnant??? I'm pretty sure I'm not...lol, but I will go tomorrow to get a test. Its been busy around here doin stuff decorating for christmas and I haven't had time to get to the store. I was gonna go this morning, I'm not in a big hurry since I dont' think I am and I've got him calmed down for at least a day or two, so it'll be alright till I get to the store. I think he just doesnt' want to be there when I take it... which you'd think he would, but oh wellies. |

::Wears a wig:: Men are afraid of having children, espeically if we are not ready, most of the time when women say thier not its generally a cover-up. "Im not pregnant", means to men "i hope im not pregnant" so we wait for the next period and worry about it every day. I used to think my X was and it would freak me out, i wasnt ready for a family. I however wasnt as incosiderate as this man. Please point me in the direction of these men, because every guy I meet wants to be a daddy. :P |

well lets hope youre not because, A) you have no car......B) you cant afford a preg test right now. Just a thought, if you were to have a baby, and it got sick, how would you be able to afford the meds and how would you get to the doc???? I know you could get a bus etc but its really hard to financially care for them alone and harder if you cant manage your money. You will have to become a financial wizard to be able to care for a child if anything goes wrong.

I just spent all kinds of money on my nephew for christmas, so yeah, I'm running a little thin this week. In this state you can get medicaid for children until they are 19 if you can't afford medical care. As for the transportation, well, I, up to this point have preferred walking and never really cared if I had a car. I can't walk to the store this very moment b/c I got my nephew with me and its like 5 miles away. Fine for me, but he'd get awfully cold and tired... plus its raining. |

I was always told by health teachers that it was and I've just always done that. I didn't post a sexual problem, I posted wanting to know how to clam him down and now I have so wtf are you ppl still doing talkin crap about me like I'm some idiotic little 12 y/o girl? |
