What does it mean to you?

I guess I am asking more about personally than professionally (simple things). (Ie)....I've been thinking about doing less laundry more often. Do you alphabetically have to have lentils to the left of your peas in your canned goods cupboard?

Are you one of those people who lay out your clothes "the night before"? Is that efficient for you?

Good question BF.

Efficiency is closing the blinds while brushing my teeth, yoga while watching the news, giving the commode a scrub while waiting for the shower to heat up and having my weekly hour phonecall to Mother while baking cookies.

I only lay my clothes out the night before if I’m nervous about what I’m dressing for. laugh

So funny Shy, Get any of these mixed up, you're in trouble! I am glad you work on the commode BEFORE the shower.I know someone who does yoga in the shower. The hot water seems to help.

When I come to town I would recommend a smart black cocktail dress...and just get some rest.

Stuff alphabetically ordered in your cupboard? OMG, that sounds pretty OCD, lol.

Buying more clothes in one go to save on shipment cost tongue2

Getting more crystals since I already spent the petrol on the trip.. best get my money's worth, lol.

Men & Efficiency..
I've known men who boiled water (electrical) that they then used to boil eggs in as they felt it was cheaper than sticking the pot with cold water & eggs on the cooker (gas). slaphead

One even filled the dishwasher with hot water (gas) as he figured that was cheaper slaphead

SUch behaviour is in my black book tongue2 waving

What it means to me is simply making life easier and less chaotic.

Cleaning as I go cuts down on the amount of time spent on weekly chores... more time to play! Putting things back where I got them makes things less cluttered which actually helps keep my mind less cluttered. My outside environment tends to reflect what's going on inside.

In the work place, same thing. I like to practice the technique of "Full hands in, full hands out". Saves on double tracking, keeps my feet from wearing out which helps me function better and helps me be more productive.

In the past I've set my clothes out the night before and found it helps but have not been able to turn it into a habit. Being single it's not really necessary. If I were to have a roommate at one of my seasonal jobs it would then be a more useful thing to do and make my mornings less stressful trying to find things in the dark.

I normally streamline or combine tasks for efficiency.
I did it at work and do it at home.
I'm very multi-tasky and organized.

Sometimes I even poops and pees on the same trip to the loo. Plus, lordy-be, if I'm just sitting there doing mah business, I even pee while sitting there (never pooped while standing tho, go figure?).

If I am out running errands or paying bills, I navigate in a circle.
I like circles.
Sometimes I just go find a large parking lot and drive round and round in a circle to unwind.
Sometimes I unwind too much and have to reverse direction and drive the opposite way in circles to wind back up a lil.

At night, I don't use lights. I tape rulers to my piggies so I don't stub my toe. I use rulers because they're a foot long.

I reuse things a lot. I'm still using the original floor to walk on. Its still good, no reason to go lay a new floor every trip to the coffee pot.

I'm even efficient while I'm sleeping.
I always wake tired and sore like I exercised all night.

I save a lot of time and money on laundry. I just shower with my clothes on.
I eat hot & spicy chili on cold winter days to save on heating bills.

I'm currently thinking of upgrading my home security system.
Been pricing Life-Sized Alien Queens...

Its efficient because not only will it scare off intruders its nice to look at.

Yup...I be 'effisent'.

Using LED lights... Running 12 Watts all night instead of 120 makes quite the difference on my utilities bill!

Not turning the heating up to 23C-24C in winter, but sticking to 21,5C - 22C.

Renting a house, not buying  Now I simply phone council when there's something wrong. Doesn't cost me anything.

It might be a stereotype, but us Germans are known to be efficient. I hear this a lot about me in work. True enough, I need things in place, not going out of order. Otherwise chaos

I am efficient in my home. Kitchen cleaned, living room bed rooms. I have one room I keep clutter . I do clear it out a bit when it gets too cluttered.

Even my cat has a clean room. I do not like Messes.
