i just looked this up as well

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang,
is someone who posts controversial messages in an online community,
such as an online discussion forum,
with the intention of baiting other users
into an emotional response.

[1] The rise of the expression "concern troll"
reflects an expanded definition of troll
as someone whose posts have the primary goal
of disrupting or derailing an internet community.

"Troll" is also used in a broader pejorative
sense to question the good faith
of any Internet user who has annoyed
the person using the term.

That reminds me,I need to get back under my bridge. Some tasty goats will be crossing soon..3 to be exact..yum.

trolls

people who have the psychological need
to feel good by making others feel bad.
This is a sort of "psycho troll",
whose deception involves deceiving themselves
as well as others.
Such people may use their real names on the internet,
and they may not even realise that they are "trolling"
because it is all subconscious.
people who pretend to be someone that they are not -
they create personae that you think are real,
but they know is fictitious.

That fact that you try to give your name calling validity by backing it with this type of sudo-psychology paper does not excuse your name calling. I will make the point again. You go ahead and call me names, I will refuse to respond in kind. I am just not that type of person. The people who read these exchanges can decide for themselves who is a good representative of their belief system.

Hey Rabbit, Happy Sabbath to you & may GOD bless you abundantly. I want to thank you for reading more of the bible, in which is the sword of GOD and knowing it pretty good. I'm not sure what belief system you have but quotes from it are few. Perhaps you could share with us a comparison with the bible & the book you believe in? I have entered a parable you might enjoy.

I'm not supposed to give these away,” the young man said, handing me a display Bible, “but I sense you should have this.” I shrugged and absently tucked it away. We had a Bible at home. I'd only stopped by the Gideon’s table because nothing else at the Iowa State Fair was set up.

A few days later I was walking to town when a car pulled up beside me. “Get in,” the driver snarled, pointing a gun at me. I did as he said. Soon he pulled over, grabbed me and tried to force me down on the seat. I struggled with all my strength. Finally he ordered me out of the car.

Before both my feet were on the ground, I heard a shot and felt a sharp pain in my side. I collapsed, and the man came around the car. He picked up my purse, took out my wallet then threw the purse on my head and shot it. I felt a dreadful impact. Still conscious, I lay silent, hoping he would think I was dead. I heard the car drive away, and I stumbled to a nearby farmhouse. A woman called for help, and the police were closing in on the drug-crazed driver based on the description I'd given them.

At the hospital, just before I went into surgery to remove the bullet in my side, my sister came to see me. “Do you know what saved your life, Mavis?” she asked.

She handed me the Bible that had been in my purse. A bullet was lodged inside, its tip stopping exactly at Psalm 37:14-15: “The wicked draw the sword, and bend the bow...to slay those whose ways are upright. But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken.”

This is what it means to know the voice of God. The young man wasn't supposed to give away the Bibles, but he “sensed” that God wanted him to give the Bible away to this lady. He probably thought that she would open the Bible and read something that would turn her life around, or bring her closer to the reality of God.

But the sword came first, and then certainly a peace that only comes from God; the reality of His protection made manifest by those who “sense” His will.

did u ever stop and think that the messiah gave us only 1 sign of who he was? That he would be in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights just as Jonah was in the fish. If he was put in the tomb at the beginning of the sabbath and rose 24+ some hours later how does that add up to 72 hours? That would nullify him being the promiced Messiah. How can that be? Blessings..Miles

Normally, I wouldnt respond to such as this...Just gotta set ya straight...
When Jesus was on the cross, he was MAN...taking on your sin...and mine, anyway, when he cried out the verse your refering to, He was crying out to OUR father, GOD...Until He gave up the ghost, so to speak...He was very much like you and I, Just perfect being the BEGOTTON Son of GOD...without sin of His own. Look in Mathew, Mark Luke especially and John...

I believe in Jesus as a great prophet and a blessing to all the universe.

But was his life and teachings very different from all other prophets?
please try to think about the whole picture:

When we are talking about God, it means something that doesn't have any weeknesses or needs. Why should he turn into a human to change our sins. Isn't he the JUDGE himself?

what is a sin???huh

Isn't it any act against his regulation and laws?

Why should he come back to change his judgement system as a human?

Did he erased all the sins just for christians or for all the human kind?

Then all of us can do everything we want and remain sinlessnoway

No one will take/delete your sins, you are responsible for everything you do.

If he wants to forgive you, he simply does.
If he wants to do something, it just happens.

There's only one God. He was never born, he will never die and has no children or a family.

I know that it's too hard to even think about changing your believes that came from our fathers. but it's time to be aware of who you are.

I wish that he will forgive all of us at the end.

I read your postings everyday and see that everyone is quoting phrases from different bibles and other religous books.
How can we know wheter these words are his words?

Malachi 2

2:17 Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?

...If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

This has often bothered me. So much so that I have looked into this quite bit trying to imagine that Jesus was just using this as a metaphor to mean something else, but it sure does appear that he mean it quite literally (at least if we believe that the gospels are 100% verbatim truth of the words of Jesus)

This would then mean that Jesus is quite literally saying that humans are capable of psychokinesis!

Quite interesting indeed!

Does this not suggest that mere mortals are indeed endowed with God-like powers that they aren’t even aware of?

Jesus isn’t suggested that we need to pray to have God send in a troop of mountain movers. He’s actually suggested that we could move mountain at our whim. Nothing shall be impossible to us!

Finally, what kind of faith is he talking about? I’ve never seen anyone move a mountain using psychokinesis. In fact, large groups of people have gotten together and prayed for rain and even danced for rain with no results.

Does this then mean that no one has any real faith no matter how devout they believe themselves to be?

Faith in what? Faith that we can actually perform psychokinesis? Faith there is a God? Faith that Jesus was really an incarnation of God?

Feral, Spider, Miles, Eljay, Miquel, and many others claim to have such faith yet we haven’t heard on the news about any mountains having been moved around. laugh

Does this mean that they really don’t have faith after all?

I would just like to be able to wiggle my nose make my cottage clean itself up, I’m not worried about moving any mountains.

However - if you read on, he tells Nicodemus that a "man must be born again to enter the kindom of heaven. Do you - like Nicodemus think you have to re-enter your mother's womb? He also said - "he who has ears, let him hear."

I can't believe that this post hasn't been taken down with the title Jesus isn't God and here's the proof. It is kind of offensive to Christians. It is basically trying to say your religion is wrong. Its not a question or anything.

again I think it is sick that some innocent baby has to pay for a sin that someone else did. I believe that babies are not really responsible for themselves let alone others sins

Rabbit;

I agree with you. But what is a great relief - is that they don't have to pay for a sin that someone else did. However - that does not mean that they don't suffer the consequesnces of parents who sin. Babies born with deforminties, drug addiction, into abject poverty due to lack of care - the list goes on. In a sense they're "paying for someone elses sin" when brought into an environment that is not one of nurture, care and love.

2 Kings 2:23-24 (New King James Version)

23 Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!”
24 So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the LORD. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.
