Love the TV show Yellowstone!! Most characters are all bad with very few redeeming qualities but i root hard for them anyway.

I'm currently watching series 4 of the Expanse on Amazon Prime. Just watched episode two and loving every moment so far.

I may check it out, Seamus, but I believe I'd already gave it a whirl and not liking it enough. But I'm not sure now.
Glad you are enjoying it!

I'm still watching "The Good Wife". I still like it :)
It has a recurring guest role for Michael J Fox. I'm not so keen on him, but alas. It is damned courageous for sure! Seeing what Parkinson's does to someone, holy crap! I sometimes have difficulty understanding what he's saying.

The availability of good, watchable new movies has dropped recently.
Loved The Babysitter but the recent sequel lost its appeal.
I watched the two back to back and the sequel actually ruins the first one.
Same writers, same actors but the story is messed up.

BTW, finally got around to watching Mulan. It was a VERY good move.

I watched AVA again and it holds up well to multiple watches.

I thought The Bay of Silence would be better than it was since it was starring Olga Kurylenko. Nope.

Rewatched Rogue with Megan Fox and I actually liked it less. It has a screwed up rhythm for an action flick. Seemed like something was off-kilter.

The 2nd turned out to be a low budget acting experiment. Reminded me of old 80s/90s action movies that were bad. Casper Van Dien did play a role where he 'looked' very different. So different it was hard to put his face to his name. Its quality reminds me of a Syfy Original movie.

Its to the point if I see Uncork'd Entertainment at the beginning of a movie it turns out to be a crapfest.

Bad acting, bad direction, bad script, bad pacing, bad sets, bad makeup, bad effects, bad foley, bad sound, bad lighting, bad framing....Bad Movie.
I usually shut these movies down within 5 minutes of the opening.

I associate The Asylum with Syfy channel. While some are watchable in a twisted way, most are crapfests.

CAM copies have started to reappear.
I'm waiting for a few CAM copies to change to web or DVD.
Tenet
The New Mutants
Still Here
Unhinged
Greenland

I learned long ago not to watch CAM copies.

The only new available that grabs my attention today is
Intersect (2020)

A group of young Miskatonic University scientists invent a time machine, only to learn that they are being manipulated by mysterious, unseen forces from another dimension.

Yup, I've predicted for months there'd be a lack of good new movies AND series. I think maybe things are slowly beginning to pick up, but then again many countries are having quite the 2nd wave of the virus.
We might not even get to see movies like "No Time to Die", A Quiet Place 2 -and other movies- that have already been pushed back a few times in 2021...
So we may have to regurgitate what we've already regurgitated one too many times for lord knows how long :/

Yeah, Mulan was fantastic! I was more than pleasantly surprised to find out the Emperor was played by Jet Li!
And what a shame he cannot do his thing anymore due to health... Does make you think about how good/bad it is to the body to extensively practice martial arts...

We won't be seeing many more "action" films where these people are lead roles. If ya pay attention to any of their most recent films, their movement is very limited.

The last few Bruce Willis films have him barely acting let alone doing action. (I wonder if he is having health issues?)
The last Mel Gibson film I watched had him very limited (not the focus of the film)
Have you seen how Dolph Lungren runs in his last few films?

These people had some really great films in their career but the old staple action stars are changing. We are in for a new breed of action star, younger, faster, with a lot of experienced old stars giving pointers.

Will Poulter, Daniel Radcliffe, Nicholas Hoult, John Boyega, Asa Butterfield, Tye Sheridan rising soon.

Jeremy Renner, Aaron Paul, Charlie Hunnam, Dwayne Johnson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Tom Hardy, Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Elizabeth Olsen, Idris Elba, Michael B. Jordan, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jamie Foxx, Joel Kinnaman, Sam Claflin, Jai Courtney, Taylor Kitsch and many others.

By the time this pandemic subsides we will be seeing lots of new faces on the silver screen.

The Rundown - 2003
With The Rock Dwayne Johnson. I actually liked it. Action and some humour.
And I'd never seen it before. I guess that can happen still, hihi.

When Travis, the mouthy son of a criminal, disappears in the Amazon in search of a treasured artefact, his father sends in Beck, who becomes Travis's rival for the affections of Mariana, a mysterious Brazilian woman. With his steely disposition, Beck is a man of few words -- but it takes him all the discipline he can muster to work with Travis to nab a tyrant who's after the same treasure.

Vantage Point - 2008
With Forest Whittaker and Dennis Quaid.
A good movie, and especially the way it is shot makes it unusual.

US President Henry Ashton attends a summit in Spain to sign a treaty but is shot by an unknown sniper. Subsequently, an explosion takes place in the square, which leads to absolute chaos.

Twisted 2004
With Samuel L Jackson, Ashley Judd, Andy Garcia and that dude that plays -I believe it was- Lucifer in Supernatural.
I had never seen it. I liked it. Every time when you thought you had it figured out you changed your mind and thought it was someone else again.

I cannot find anywhere to watch The Long Way Up online for free tears If anyone knows, I'm all ears!

I tried 'The Invisible Guardian", first part of the trilogy with 'The Legacy of the Bones (2019)' as nr 2.
I couldn't bear it any longer, I think I watched an hour. It could've been okay, although a movie noir, but it's mostly a female police inspector who had serious abuse from her mother as a kid, now getting serious verbal / emotional abuse from her sister.
If only to tell that biotch off, or just slap her, preferably backfist her. But no. She just sits there and puts up with it.
When the sister started ranting yet again I switched it off. Enough is enough.

Another one, 7,3 rating, The Lincoln Lawyer with Matthew McConaughey. I'm not a fan of his but this was a good movie.

Mick Haller is a defense lawyer who works out of his Lincoln. When a wealthy Realtor is accused of assaulting a prostitute, Haller is asked to defend him. The man claims that the woman is trying to get some money out of him. But when Haller looks at the evidence against him, he learns that this case might be linked to an old case of his

I Am Number Four -2011
Quite the good movie.

High school senior John Smith, just moving into the small town of Paradise, Ohio, with his "father" Henri, is outwardly your typical American teenager; however, John (which is just his latest assumed name) is in reality a refuge from the planet Lorien. When he was but an infant, he and eight other Lorien infants escaped from Lorien's holocaust when the planet was overrun by the marauding Mogadorians, who killed all the other Loriens. Each of the nine was assigned a protector/warrior, John's being Henri. The nine are all on Earth, but each has no idea the whereabouts of the other eight. The Mogadorians are out to find and kill the nine, in order, with John being number four.

Last Knights
With Morgan Freeman and Clive Owen.
Oddly enough I'd never seen it even though I tend to go for Morgan Freeman movies. I liked it a lot!
