I use an ergonomic keyboard. I type so much all day every day, and otherwise my wrists start to ache real bad.

I dont like throwing away my sneakers. I wear them till they are literally falling apart. Usually for yard work. Never to work work if they dont look nice. I will buy new ones but on days off I wear the old ones.

Haha, I do the same thing! My lovely boots... wore them for some 7-8 years, then one zip broke, the rest was way past its sell-by date so not worth having them repaired. I wore them in the garden, tied a piece of string around it so it would stay in place since the zip was broken. In the end I did have to bin them, I still miss them at times
Best frigging boots I've ever had! Then I had sneakers and the bottom part came undone within a few months after purchase I tried to glue them, didn't work. Now I use them to work in the garden.
Neat trick, duct tape! I'm going to do that too! |

I am fascinated with spiders, I relocate them in the morning from the outside umbrellas rather than kill them. Had a tarantula years ago.

Particularly interesting is the black widow spider... will mate over and over again and devours her mate. She'll lay between 200 to 700 eggs, of which only a few survive because they are carnivorous The black widow and brown recluse are the only ones I will stomp on. |

Sure... There was a rehab place I was working for in Northern Michigan that used to call me to remove the spiders

Not many would with my being a woman, lol. Most people don't like spiders or appreciate them for the benefits of their being here. The guests will ask me in the morning what I'm doing, they're usually shocked when I tell them... some think it's cool though.
