Once when my son was a little tot we went fishing in the mountains. We were walking along a steep mountain side and he slipped and started rolling down the mountainside. My parental instincts kicked in and I threw my stuff aside and jumped down the mountainside not thinking about myself but only my son. I reached him but not without injury to myself.

I love geology and mineralogy .......and the non-precious, semi-precious and precious gems produced I got around 400 crystals Currently quite nuts about my electric blue apatite. This is relatively new, blue apatatite usually is more blue-green. This is really electric blue. So likely a new vein/deposit they found. Not easily available, so maybe just a small deposit only. It's gorgeous!
