Sunny and 80 degrees since Florence came close to the east coast. Florence is forcing the jet stream north of the Midwest and until it goes away we're suppose to remain the same: 80 and sunny. Local meteorologist forecasts sound like a broken record (and they admit to it).
Of course, we all feel for the folks in the North/South Carolina area. |

Storm Ali starting to hit UK. Very high winds and 400 mm of rain forecast over night in the north of England,all trains cancelled in Scotland, and Autumn has only just arrived. Storm Ali has been in Scotland from this morning. Trees down and power cuts. Hopefully it won't hit England as I believe it's heading north. I, for one, will be glad to see the back of it. I think Scotland got the brunt of it, we have escaped the worst, and I'm pleased to hear it's now moved away. |
