Topic: how do you deal with the "lonelies"?

i usually grab a cold one, a few hits on the pipe and play my guitar until i pick myself up off the cold tile floor and go to my bed.. I usually grab a cold one also but she never says yes. OOOOOOOO you were talking about beer? Nevermind, my bad...

Could not agree more. As an only child, it can be challenging. I like my electronics, YT, I am appreciating the forums. I wish there had been a chance to connect like this a very long time ago.

It was the precursor to BBS (Bulletin Board Systems) which these forums are. Perhaps you just weren't looking because your life was full and your activity level had no time?

Humm can't say that I get lonely... I embrace the peace and quit and when I feel I need others to talk to besides those at work I go out to eat to talk to others... Always sit at the bar in the restaurant that way there is always the bartender and others sitting at the bar to talk too.. And of course with social media there is always someone to talk to or play games... ect.... I don't get bored for there is always something around the house that needs to be done.... And if all else fails I get on my trike and just ride... to where ever the wind guides me~~~~~

I distract myself by playing music or watching horror movies.... anything that makes me aware of being alone I just do without You can tell me freely

Until two years ago, I was married. I think I missed all that. But I would have saved a tv series or two for later if I’d joined sooner. I think I’ve seen them all in those two years.
