never address someone by only their last name I spent 7 years active duty in the military. Last names were their names and what would make you think last names is disrespectful? You have no pride in your family name? There are people I knew in the service ONLY by their last names. The only thing that gets my goat about names is when someone younger than me tries to call me 'son'. There was only one person that ever had the right to call me son and he's dead. everything else is just 'meh', whatever. Very true. I didn't know I had a first name until I got off-duty everyday.

Its a dead give away for a phony profile I have found when they call you "baby" right away. Usually it will be a picture of a very attractive woman also. I do not like being called that by some one I have never meet either. If they had spent a night with me, well then hell yah call be baby. I could understand that.

Depends on the context, and how well I know the person. I prefer it to something rude and crude, but in general until I actually know a person I prefer my first Name.

I totally agree. it's creepy and in my opinion it usually means they're looking for a score. I'm not that type I like to get to know the guy and building into that. I expect some old skool morals due to my upbringing. Respect is the most important thing.
