If they give you to chose between love and money This question isn't very well thought out. If the choice is "you can either have 20 million dollars and never romantically love someone in your life ever, or you can find your soulmate tomorrow but you will be perpetually broke, and homeless, no money whatsoever," then I would choose money. I'd simply pay some woman a ton of money, get her pregnant, have a kid, and use money to fill our lives with as much non romantic love as possible. If the question is "you can either have 20 million dollars and feel absolutely no loving joy in your life for anything whatsoever. No pets, no wife, no kids, no friends, no family, no hobbies, nothing you could ever describe as love, or be penniless, homeless, broke, but guaranteed you will have rich loving friends, loving family, love your life, love your hobbies, love your experiences," then I would choose "love." If the choice is "if you choose love, then everything you love or loves you loses their money, never has a penny so you could never benefit in any way from any largess. You can either have guaranteed love in your life with no monetary benefit in any way whatsoever, or guaranteed money and financial security, with a guarantee of absolutely no love in any way whatsoever in your life," then I would probably commit suicide, Then the choice is "feel love, but screw over everyone else for caring about you," or, "anhedonic with financial security, no real emotional purpose to your existence." There's no real way to "win."

Topic: If they give you to chose between love and money Does this mean the two are mutually exclusive? Are you asking if you can find love without having money? Are you asking if you can't love without money? Im confused too dreamerana , I thought the question was asking us to choose between love or money, Im hearing some folks talking about making their own money, but did the OP give us that option of one person having money in the relationship? I assume that most of the people in this thread live in a house or an apartment , eat food and wear clothes. If neither party has money, who is paying for these things? The truth of the matter at least for me is you can have success and money. It doesn't mean much if you don't have someone to share it. My life reached big achievements. I got promoted in my regular job. Additionally, I was offered another dream come true being a part time instructor and mentor. Made a splash in both. While I'm blessed in both, there was still an emptiness while my happy sunshine and i were having difficulties. Love makes life meaningful I don't agree that love makes life meaningful. I don't have love but I am happy and my life certainly has meaning. My volunteer work with my Navy cadets gives me meaning, hanging with my friends gives me meaning, doing charity gives my life meaning, etc. You can do many things that give your life meaning without love.

I believe Love supersedes everything. I'll choose love, if its Real and not fake, id rather love and be loved back.
