Topic: INS/FBI Statistical Report on Undocumented Immigrants | |
---|---|
How about posting the actual location of this so-called documented, factual information. I think the point here is that people shouldn't just believe anyhing they read on the net, but research it themselves. Just because you say it's from the INS/FBI doesn't mean it is....

Why dont you find one incident that the FBI has denied this report!
As common as it is and with a government that denies everything, it seems like they would! Innocent until proven guilty! PROVE IT AINT TRUE!!! If you dont believe that one look at the GAO link and the links they give to their sources! Denial is futile in the face of facts, esp when no facts to the contrary are provided! Just because you say it aint true dont mean it aint! I believe the American Phrase is "Put up or shut up!" ¿ Necesita ella una amiga? |

I was just reading this.
I thought it was right on the money! What do you think? Illegal immigrants are not "victims" who need us to rescue them. Yes, many are hard working and only wanting a better life as those in all countries do. However, the problem is much broader than what some media images suggest (e.g., the harvesting of crops, immigrants feeding their families, or emotional photos of parents deported from their anchor child--an extremely rare event). A significant number are single males with no families to feed. In fact, illegal immigrants know that having an anchor child greatly reduces their chances of being deported. Yet the same media is not sympathetic to American parents separated from their children when they're caught breaking the law. In the real world, Americans have witnessed millions of illegals openly engage in undesirable activities, while enjoying special treatment that our own citizens don't receive. Such activities include catch-and-release (a type of sanctuary status that even foreign diplomats don't get), failure to appear in court, immigrant gangs, drug and human smuggling, violent crimes, massive identity fraud, illegal voting, driving under the influence, hit-and-run accidents and various other motor vehicle violations, tax free incomes, free social services (including housing and food stamps), free emergency room care, public school enrollments, a full range of medical services for family members due to chain migration--including elderly parents who draw on the healthcare system and maternity care for their anchor babies. As if this weren't enough, they then wave their foreign flags in the streets of America demanding their rights, yet they don't have the courage to demonstrate in their native countries in order to fix their own countries' problems. Across the nation, District Attorneys routinely cut plea bargains with illegals caught in serious crimes who aren't deported or even incarcerated, only to repeat their crimes in the future. If they agree to be deported (many times agreeing to self-deportation), they often return to the U.S. in short order. These kinds of activities are hard on the nation and its communities, yet amazingly people are expected to buy the myth that illegal immigration is somehow "good for America." Americans must ask themselves if these are the people they want to reward with citizenship while many others have waited in line to be here legally. Americans are also learning that the 14th Amendment was not intended to give special treatment to illegal mothers and their anchor babies. Americans are becoming outraged that their leadership has allowed this amendment to be a huge magnet for illegal immigration and its associated costs. |

Good luck, Fanta , I gave up long ago trying to convince the bleeding hearts on here about how illegal immigrants are destroying America. And you're right. Their side has yet to even attempt to produce proof of their rants. They're content to sling insults(and not even very original ones)till the cows come home. And these bleeding hearts find it easier to believe wildly unfounded "conspiracy theories" rather than BACKED-UP FACTS that you've provided. Sorta makes me wonder exactly how "law-abiding" some of these bleeding hearts really are, or what they themselves are trying to hide. Hmmm.....

Knoxman...you really are getting on my last nerve with that "bleeding hearts" thing.
Just because someone has enough heart to go around someone else twice...is no reason to call names like "bleeding heart".That is soooo irritating. How about soft hearts? Soft hearted. Kind.. I'm just saying...it isn't too nice, really. Kat Fantaaaaaaaaa...I'm bacaaaaack. Evening all. |

Knox,,
I expected to see at least one Vet come forward and say he (or she) supported illegal immigration! Oh well!! I really did expect one or two though!! Weird aye? The ones that were willing to strap on the LBE and step in the trenches to fight for this country dont seem to support illegal immigration! HMmmmm,,,, I really did expect a few?? (((((HI Kat! ))))) They call us names. Imagine what they'd call these people!! PARIS (AP) - The body that rules on the constitutionality of French laws threw out an article in the new immigration measure Thursday that would have opened the way to collecting statistics on ethnic origins to ensure diversity. But it approved a controversial amendment allowing for DNA tests of immigrants' offspring. The Constitutional Council ruled the DNA tests, which are voluntary and meant to ensure that family ties are authentic, must be limited to establishing a direct link with the mother. It warned against systematic use of DNA tests. The immigration bill was passed by lawmakers Oct. 23, and will take effect once Sarkozy signs it and it is published in the official register - expected sometime within the next few weeks. The immigration law also requires that prospective immigrants take a language test and an exam on fundamental French values. It sets a minimum income level for the relative in France to ensure the person arriving has enough financial support. |

Are we still at this????? WE already verified the information came from a constituents letter to a senator, the information is unverifiable as valid by any organization that has been asked. So what are we debating???? The racist propaganda again? It has already been proven to be unverified and probably a sham at best, worst case scenerio it a racist working at dehumanizing the aliens to make it easier to perpetrate their hate against them. So what to talk about now???? How is the weather there? That is about it. This is dead in the water.

Scctrbrain if that irritates you as the kids say, "build a bridge and get over it" I sorta liked the bleeding heart thing. It aptly describes those who advocate unregulated and illegal immigration for their lame humanitarian reasons. The key word here is ILLEGAL!!! exactly what part of that do you fail to comprehend?
If we were to use your warped logic, if I rob a bank for the right reasons, I not only don't have to go to jail, I get to keep the money. Remember that right is still right even if nobody is doing it and wrong is still wrong even if everybody is doing it. Illegal Immigration is is just plain WRONG!! |

This is what I could find on the official federal bureau of investigations site for the stastics on crime:
Overview In 2006, the FBI estimated that 14,380,370 arrests occurred nationwide for all offenses (except traffic violations), of which 611,523 were for violent crimes, and 1,540,297 were for property crimes Law enforcement made more arrests for drug abuse violations in 2006 (an estimated 1.9 million arrests, or 13.1 percent of the total number of arrests) than for any other offense. (Based on Table 29.) Nationwide, the 2006 rate of arrests was estimated at 4,832.5 arrests per 100,000 inhabitants; for violent crime, the estimate was 207.0 per 100,000; and for property crime, the estimate was 524.5 per 100,000. (See Table 30.) Although the number of arrests for violent crimes increased less than 1 percent (0.3) when compared with arrest data from 2005, arrests for robbery offenses rose 8.6 percent. Arrests of juveniles (under 18 years of age) for murder rose 3.4 percent in 2006 compared with 2005 arrest data; for robbery, arrests of juveniles increased 18.9 percent over the same 2-year period. (See Table 36.) In 2006, 76.3 percent of all persons arrested were male, 82.2 percent of persons arrested for violent crime were male, and 68.8 percent of persons arrested for property crime were male. (See Table 42.) Among the four categories of race reflected in UCR arrest data, 69.7 percent of persons arrested were white, 58.5 percent of persons arrested for violent crime were white, and 68.2 percent of persons arrested for property crime were white. White juveniles comprised 67.1 percent of the juveniles arrested in 2006. Black juveniles accounted for 51.0 percent of the juveniles arrested for violent crime, and white juveniles comprised 66.3 percent of juveniles arrested for property crime. (See Table 43.) In 2006, 70.1 percent of all adults arrested were white, 27.6 percent were black, and the remaining percentage was of other races. Of all juveniles (individuals under the age of 18) arrested in 2006 in the Nation, 67.1 percent were white, 30.3 percent were black, and the remainder were of other races. Nearly 61 percent (60.8) of all adults arrested for violent crimes in 2006 were white; 68.9 percent of all adults arrested for property crimes in 2006 were white. Arrests of adults for murder were nearly equal between white and black arrestees, with 50.0 percent being black, and 47.7 percent being white. Fifty-one percent of juveniles arrested for violent crimes were black. Slightly more than 66 percent (66.3) of juveniles arrested for property crimes were white. Nearly 94 percent (93.7) of juveniles arrested for driving under the influence were white. Slightly more than 79 percent (79.2) of juveniles arrested for arson were white. http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/cius2006/data/table_43.html#overview Check it out for yourself. And tell me the other bogus stats are not lies. While I was searching for verification of this data posted previously there were many many sites who debunk the information. I agree, it has no base or merit. Oh, and now I have to take a long LONG SHOWER from all the hatemongering sites I had to go through to discover the information was bogus. EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW |
