The might and magic series ( with the exception of 9) was heralded as the best rpg's for it's time. The lands of lore series ran a close second though. But let's not forget the 700 plus hours I put into Oblivion.

FF7,FF3,...Zelda 1 (skip 2) and the rest.Kingdom Hearts 1&2 Neverwinter Nights..Evercrack..WoW..And any of the old Sierra "Quest" games..Hee hee.

ohhhh i almost forgot about Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2! yeah those were some good games.. i hope they make a 3..really soon

I played D&D on paper when I was in elementary school. Diablo is a great RPG if you like hack and slash. I have bought the game three times. How many times does a person have to buy the game before they hack it?

No Shadow Hearts fans? Suikoden 2 World of Warcraft... just eats too much of your life! I've stopped playing since I quit that, though, not picked up a game in months :( Xenogears definately. Baldur's Gate 2!

Some of my favorites over the years: The original Zelda Secret of Mana Baldur's Gate Neverwinter Nights (Both 1 and 2) Morrowind/Oblivion But by far my favorite of all (I still play too): Diablo II Lord of Destruction.

Ok here is my list by my favorites. 1. Final Fantasy Tactics 2. TIE Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic AND Bioshock 3. Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past 4. Lufia and the Fortress of Doom 5. Suikoden 2 I like games with very good story and these are my top 5's. Yea there is a tie both deserve the spot.
