I Love Milesoftheusa's Reply ! How appropriate... He has given a quote of Jesus reiterating that his 'Brothers' and his 'Sisters' are those who actually followed him and not so-much his biological mother and brothers. (What's Not To Understand ?) Yes again, his mother Marry was there. And Marry's other children, James, Joses, Simon, and Judas are Jesus, his bothers and sisters. His sister's names are never given that I know of. |

Yes, and Jesus did emphasize they were only his biological mother and brothers, not to be confused with his Metaphorical Spiritual Brothers and Sisters in whom he was obviously in the immediate company of.

Now, please continue on and show a verse where Jesus refers to us as his brothers and sisters, not his actual blood brothers and sisters, but all of us. |

Well, apart from what Milesoftheusa has so masterfully presented, I've no cause for any follow-up.
Thank You, Milesoftheusa... Your scriptural quote was an absolute confirmation that Jesus referred to his disciples as 'Brothers & Sisters' in faith. ***************** Case Closed Cowboy GH ! ****************** Milesoftheusa and I obviously both agree, Jesus must have been in the habit of calling the disciples and Apostles of his day as his "Brothers". |

You claim he does it once, yet you state "Jesus must have been in the habit of calling the disciples... his brother" lol. Show another as I've shown his actual blood brothers and sisters were in the crowd being spoken to. So please show another just to be sure, preferably one with his actual blood blothers and sister being present. |

Read the verse that Milesoftheusa has quoted again !
Jesus' mother and brothers (Biologically Speaking) are outside and inquiring about him (Jesus) who is on the inside. |

Mark 3:32 - And a multitude was sitting about him; and they say unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren 'WITHOUT" seek for thee. And he answereth them, and saith, Who is my mother and my brethren? And looking round on them that sat round about him, he saith, Behold, my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. I've moved Milesoftheusa's quote up from the Gospel Of Mark for all to read once more. |

Read the verse that Milesoftheusa has quoted again ! Jesus' mother and brothers (Biologically Speaking) are outside and inquiring about him (Jesus) who is on the inside. Exactly, so you know the verse speaking Jesus' "brothers and sisters" was not specifically in reference to us, as his actual blood brothers and sisters were there. |
|
|
|
NOPE ... !
They are "WITHOUT" as the verse says. That is to say emphatically his mom and the other aforementioned brothers of Jesus were 'Outside-The-Circle' so as to speak. |

And who says these specific comments are to his "In-The-Circle?" Mark 31 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. Again is referring to his actual brothers, other children Marry bore. Try finding a verse that references to us as bothers and sisters to Jesus that does not include his actual blood brothers and sisters. |

So, You're saying that just because we weren't living at the same time as these fellow Brother in faith back then... We're somehow exempt from being called Jesus' Brothers ?
Give me a break... ! And, everybody else reading this Forum ! |

And, everybody else reading this Forum ! The verse does not say brother in faith. James, Joses, Simon, and Judas are his biological brothers, that were in the crowd in which whom he was speaking to in reference to your verse(s) that you have shown that had any connection to "Mother, Bothers, and sisters" |

Well Cowboy GH, obviously You'll read and assume whatever You want to see in a verse from the Bible.
You even manage to vacillate on somebody's comment even when they're actually agreeing with You. What Is With That ? |

For whosoeuer shall doe the will of my Father which is in heauen, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

It has to be speaking metaphorically as the mention of "mother" is in there. This still doesn't show we are literally brother's with Jesus, spiritually or otherwise. And he is speaking in broad terms, I asked for a verse where he specifically refers to a specific person(s) as brothers and sisters outside his actual blood family. |

And he is speaking in broad terms, I asked for a verse where he specifically refers to a specific person(s) as brothers and sisters outside his actual blood family. are we adopted? Ephesians 1:4-6New King James Version (NKJV) 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. New King James Version (NKJV) The problem is you believe Yahshua is Yahweh. He said all Blasphemy against him would be forgiven but not against the Holy spirit. You apparently believe he is the Holy spirit also. Makes one wonder how he is the Only Begotton son of Yahweh and be the father also. He even said he was not good only his father is good. as long as you believe he is not the son you can believe anything and make anything say whatever you want. So of course you do not believe you can be an adopted son of Yahweh. You can never be of the family of Yahweh. If you are an adopted son and Yahshua is the son of Yahweh you are family. Hense a brother of Yahshua because all brothers do Yahweh's will. This is a sign of his people. Not my will father but your will. As in the Masters prayer Your Will be Done on earth as it is in Heaven. Is his will in you? |
