Why should you worry about such things? Going through life feeling aggrieved is not going to help you. Won't make the quality of your life better, it will make it worse.
Maybe try and stop being bitter, angry and resentful all the time and start enjoying life again? So far you've wasted at least a month of your life on all that stuff. Are you going to be aggrieved later on as well that someone (I suppose) made you waste your life away?
Shrug it off and live! Today isn't ever going to come back, nor is that month. Live and enjoy. And instead maybe focus on how people get to feel happy. At least that will do something for you and add to your life.

Our social system is based on the power of money. So everybody is mad for money. An honest man often suffers. At times he has no money to maintain himself and his family. His sons and daughters may not get good education and medical treatment for lack of money. Money plays an important part in our society. A dishonest man lives more comfortably than an honest man. Thus faith in honesty is shaken. Even an honest man begins to think whether honesty is the best policy.


Advantages and Disadvantages of Honesty


Let us examine the whole thing critically. A dishonest man thinks that he will become rich by dishonest means. But this is not right. An honest man may be in trouble for want of money. But he will be happy in the end.


Money or wealth got through dishonest means does not last long. We earn it today and waste it tomorrow. A dishonest man is fearful, immoral and corrupt. He has no internal happiness. An honest man may be poor. But he is fearless, happy and contented. He is respected by all. But a dishonest man is hated in society.

A dishonest man may have some advantage for the time being. But he soon realizes his mistakes. A dishonest man is a curse to society. He ruins the whole system of society. Such a person should be punished. Even God is unhappy with him. So we should always believe in the saying, "Honesty is the best policy."

So well said.. I have seen some people use 'Honesty" as a so called weapon then in my opinion it is no longer honesty, but someones perception...

What is really honesty and how much of it we trully want to see or to hear? And how much are we honest to others about ourselves? Not speaking about things that are always bad: cheating, lying, hypocrisy, etc. But I think that a lot of people, not excluding me, often wears masks in order to protect themselves, to show their better side and hide their weaknesses.

Somehow it seems to me that we like people which are honest and strong and we admire them. But what are our feelings when somebody honestly shows their weakness? Shall we say it took courage to expose themselves as vulnerable? Or shall we be offensed and annoyed by that? And if we would be annoyed by that, aren�t we hypocrits too?

I belive in honesty and to all my closer relations I am absolutely honest, in words and in behaviour, although looking for words when I have to say something that isn�t pleasent. And also ask honesty.

How does a woman (any person) MAKE you HAVE TO lie? My thought: to tell the truth or lie is always your choice. Or you can change the discussion... and avoid the answer...

Because lying to people makes them like you. When people like you they help you. When people help you, you get ahead. As for cheaters never win, not possible. If you are faithful and your partner cheats with one other person they got you outscored 2 to 1.

What it boils down to is integrity. Honesty is a trait that one has or doesn't have. Whatever you are here, that's what you are anywhere if you're being honest with yourself and everyone around you. I will not trade my integrity for being placed in any position, even if it's last. If I can't be respected or appreciated for my honesty, then I'm just in the wrong place.
