I understand where you are comming from. I do not take the bible literally. It is a fine line. But if you look at the role of women throughout the bible they did not teach men in a public forum.Prophesying and visions is another subject. Yahshua said he came to change nothing like i said before he took away the curse of the law to those who would believe. Not the law. The law distintly shows men as priests ministering for the people in the Holy of Holies and to the people. We do not have the right to change Yahweh's word. To do so is to be condemned by the curse of the law. This is not popular in todays society as the way we live and have been brought up. The Bible clearly states that we all have a unique role and God-given attributes that are to be used to glorify and further God's kingdom. EACH ROLE IS EQUALLY IMPORTANT. Debating what we "should" or "shouldn't" do is not really productive, nor should we be debating the specific roles we "should" or "shouldn't" have within the church.

What needs to happen is that each of us pursue God/truth/love/whatever you want to call it within our sphere of influence. Everything done out of love erases any dissention among the people and amont the different groups.

As for Angels? Sexless. No earthly body. No procreation. No need for gender. Masculine names, yes. But, most of the language is used with masculine terms.

No i would not call them sexless. Quite the oppisite. The word rib taken from adam should be chamber, not rib. This is why it says Yahweh closed Adam up. Man and women make completeness in Yahweh's kingdom. I believe Adam had both sexes even as this still happens some today... Blessings.. Miles

As for women preaching. They were given authority to preach the gospel to other women and children, as well as some others. The authority to teach and be the heart and concious of the family.
It was believed in the times of old that women could be deceived easily therefore making them less trustworthy. As was Eve. Men are hardheaded and less likely to listen to a woman. Whereas women and children and elderly will.
