Even though we all get lonely and want that special someone. What r some benefits of living alone? I can drink out of the milk carton if I want and don't have to wait for the bathroom in the morning. What are some for you?

You can do what you want when you want to.

EDIT: On the flip side, men sleep 20 min better when with a partner, doesn't make a difference for women.

You can watch porn with volume
When you cook its only for yourself
You can design it exactly how you want
No split finances so no "when can you have the rent?" etc
When you go shopping you only buy what you need
Get to choose the TV program
You know where you put stuff

for me the biggest thing is coming and going as I please and knowing that my things will be as I left them and my home will be quiet.

getting to choose who my company will be.

Nobody to tell me to " just go to the bathroom and toss off" and then come to the door & kick it & yell.
It to late for foreplay !

you can avoid stress of worrying about potential pregnancy/std,

you can avoid stress of worrying about the pressure of feeling responsible for someone elses 'happiness'

you can make your own schedule based upon your needs

you can have peace and quiet and focus on tasks and goals easier

The benefits of living alone for me is coming and going as I want, I don't have to consider another person's feelings, I don't have to explain the reason I have decided to do something, where I am going, when I'll be back or why I am late. I eat what I want, when I want and don't have to worry about whether it is agreeable to someone else. I don't have to explain how I spend the money or why I bought something. I love being in charge of my life and spending time with whomever I choose, no strings attached. I listen to whatever music pleases me or just enjoy peace and quiet. smooched "life is good"

You never run out of stuff, you know where things are because you are organised, and you are never late on arriving where you need to be, resulting in less stress.

Humm where ever I lay something down it will be there when I want it..

I can take a shower as long as I want too..

I'm never rushed to get ready...

I can hog the bed...

I can watch what I want to on tv..

No one tells me to get off the computer...

I can come and go as I please...bigsmile

This is funny as new couples who meet up on here will be able to read the others responses to questions like this! We should all think carefully as to how we answer, so I'm going with being able to watch what you want when you want on tv even tho I listen to tunes most of the time anywaybigsmile

I actually don't do much different in or out of relationships. I even set the table for myself. Habits die hard I guess.

As far as working someone elses needs into my schedule? Someone to whisper in my ear sure beats a little extra free time. drool

1)Morning prayer not disturb...reaching that place or peace is much easier when alone.

2)walking around nakie, I love to air dry my skin without using a towel better for the skin.

I love the fact that everything I do I don't get yelled at. I do miss having someone to hold but I love not having to worry about if I offended the other person

that's so funny

I'm the same way. Can't wait to get home from trips and shower and run nude. My summer place is all tile and I love to drip dry with the ceiling fans going. Nothing like the feeling of nothing on.
