It makes no sense to argue your benefits of being single on a quote "dating site" and the very fact many are here once divided is because they miss something of being united. Smh.

Who will be there for you when you want to be alone BECAUSE you have not considered or gave up what you had ONLY NOW REALIZING WHAT YOU LOST? Whoa, Ace. Obviously, you haven't had to put up with a very inconsiderate person. Beleving that the lady you love will never change, is like expecting that your first born will be president. When mine hit menopause, I got the suprise of my life, she changed, got beligerant, and would not seek any sort of help. Counsiling? I couldn't even get her to go. It didn't take long for me to figure out that I had to save myself. I wasn't going to sit back, and watch my then wife,cheat on me. I couldn't stop her, and I couldn't do anything right in her eyes. Sometimes one must cut their losses and move on.

Just an observation apparent not only to me but others also. If being single is so great for you then why are you here? being single only means not being romantically involved, there are other reasons to socialize on a social site,, not everyone is here because they are unhappy where they are,, many are just OPEN to the possibility of something else dont know why that has to be about anything other than the spirit of gratefulness for what we have we CAN be happy and complete without a romance,,,whats wrong with that?

It's time for many to wake up. 1 Corinthians 7:10,11 also in Corinthians 8 Now to the unmarried[a] and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do. 9 But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion. THE BEST OPTION, stay single but if one has little self control,, to be married to ONE spouse

This is not just a dating site, it's a social site. People like me come on here to talk with friends, meet new people, or sometimes just vent, play games. That's why there's so many different threads for games, chit chat, religion, cooking, politics, etc etc. Why are you bothered that some people are happy being single? Sometimes some people are single because they choose to be, for various reasons. That doesn't mean they don't belong here, this isn't the same as Match or Eharmony.

and dont forget, we're not posting on 'why I want to be single', we're just posting the benefits. Cus there actually are benefits. There are negatives too. We have choices. I credit you at your attempts at reasoning. I really don't see a down side to being single....or living alone - even if I am not single
