I want to enjoy sex for as long as my body will allow. I don't think age should be a factor. It gets on my last nerve, that lots of newspaper articles, like to portray anyone over fifty as fragile. I know some of the most athletic fifty-somethings you'll ever meet. At 65 I am more sexually active and certainly more fit than at 45  amazing what exercise and a gym will do for your body and sex drive OK, A little Viagra also modern medicine gets a little credit also

Personally? I crave it. I want to continue having a healthy sex life for as long as possible. Having said that, I will note that a lot of different things can constitute "sex", depending on the variable and possibly changing abilities of the partners involved. As far as I'm concerned, at it's core sex is more a matter of intent than of mechanics, in that it is possible to share pleasure by multiple avenues. Sometimes, people just have to get creative. I am 72 and still able and willing. Minor problem, is no partner. I live in the Lake Chapala region of Mexico and expat women complain that the only men they can meet are married, gay, or going back to the states next Thursday. Trying to get to meet for coffee is damn near impossible, figure that one out.
Sex would be great but, so would coffee and a walk or a sightseeing trip someplace close or not. A movie, dinner, lunch,,,breakfast :-). Well the last checkup said I had a 40 year old heart and a 60 year old right knee. Gotta be careful to not twist it. All my pieces parts work well, not great like when I was 30 but well enough that I don't have a pharmacy in my bathroom. Bottom line is that talking about sex should not be a big taboo. It shouldn't be the first conversation either or it might be the last. |

What a pointless question!.. Who wouldn't want the endorphins! if for nothing else, there is plenty sheer physical/medical reasons why aging (drying) women, but men alike REALLY should continue their sex life until they die.. BUT as someone so eloquently put it here, to be willing and able and ACTUALLY finding someone to DO IT with is two different ball games entirely... Particularly if MAKING LOVE is in question.. not just having sex, but either way...
I think it's sadly so true that we all need at least TWO HUGS a day just to survive, how many did you get today?
