To answer the qestion asked, Are you retired or close to retirement?
I'm retired but not from living life.

And, how old do I feel?
Most days I feel like I did when I was forty, I'm in good health and stay very active. But often have to admit I'm not able to do what I did when I was forty even though I keep trying. laugh

I can do still do anything I really want to, might take more time & effort. But always worth it & proves I still can.

I used to feel way younger than my age and limber etc..But now I'm "dragging" at times. Over the past couple of years I've lost my husband and both of my grown "kids" and 4 cats. (And you name it!)...I know it's taken a big toll on me..Hopefully I'll be able to feel "young at heart" and happy and carefree again at some point down the road!

I am 60 but feel 40 since I've had both hips replaced (last one in October 2012)lol arthritis takes a lot out of a person especially if they work full time (and for 6 months was split shifts yeccchhh) and are on their feet all day. Now I go to the gym, getting my stamnia back up walk 3 1/2 miles in 53 minutes (this after only 1 month!) do some weight lifting,do the stairstepper(the one you have to actually walk up like steps) and the bicycle , oh and just started kettle ball classes (fun, no really!), I can't wait till I get my speed up and can do some running (on the treadmill). On no medication, have no other health issues, why... why.... I feel like a new person! Also making some career changes, 2013 is going to be a very good year for me......

I don't expect to ever fully retire.

My kids and/or friends could say I am anywhere from 5 yrs old to my real age, depending on the situation. (Yes, I'm easily amused and enthusiastic about life.)

There ARE those moments when the body reminds me of my real physical age, however. Gravity is a real B! rofl

12 days ago I turned 51. I'm no where near retiring, but I've got my eye on it. Health wise, I'm doing pretty well. No problems that have to be taken care of. Although, my right knee troubles me some when the weather changes. Too much time kick starting that old Harley I used to ride.

I don't want to be younger and I don't have any real regrets. I like myself, a lot.

Im 50 in good shape, eat well, and no serious health problems. Im not in the shape or am not attractive as I once was but I like things now. I've slowed down and smell the rose's and listen to the birds now. For me age has been a good thing.
