No always means no!

Yeah... I'm confused on why this is confusing?

Guys if a woman says NO... forget what her body says.. The police will only accept what she said!!

And what confuses me is why is it that a woman can be a cock tease and not suffer her share of punishment.

I am not condoning rape but to condone a woman's bad behavior is just as hypocritical.

A fishing worm does not want to be bait yet a few women out there think it is funny to bait men.

Not all women deserve what they get since they did nothing to earn it but what of the woman who instigates trouble, gets it, and cries rape?

Example, remember last year that Lacrosse team that was accused by a woman of raping her and then it was proven she was not raped, made the whole thing up, and ruined a bunch of lives...

This is how I see this who NO argument being twisted on itself.

No means no EXCEPT WHEN A WOMAN IS BEING A TEASE INTENTIONALLY! Then No means NOTHING at least to me no matter how people want to word the law.

I just want it clear that people who use the law to victimize others are raping people with the law! Again the Lacrosse team example!

I deleted my earlier response because I felt it was too personal but maybe it needs to be said.

Andy, your line of thinking is the same rationale my rapist gave to me when he was done. He explained this to me as he drove me back to my dorm room. I was crying and bleeding. But I guess I deserved what I got for making out with him.

Unfortunately, it's impossible to know what some men will consider being a tease vs. making out a bit and then stopping. If you are going to insist upon raping a woman after a certain point perhaps you could let her know ahead of time where exactly that line is so she doesn't accidentally cross it. Thanks, a former victim.

Unfortunately, It really needed to be said on this thread!

I do have to wonder exactly what is considered a tease, too. I would also hope that a guy who cannot handle doing anything and stopping would speak up beforehand and say that in the beginning.

So, people should talk about limits before anything happens.

Sure. However, even if the woman says she's ready to have sex, she can still change her mind. And if she does that, he needs to listen.

No argument there.

If a woman first says "Yes" and later says "No", then the man probably should get away from her, because the woman is sending a mixed message.

What a great thread Sing.

It has brought to light the misogynistic ideals that have hung around from by gone times that say a man can't control himself so a woman has to.

It has brought to light that a woman can walk down the street butt *** naked and she may get arrested but she should never have to fear being raped.

Thanks, Emily. It was a very long time ago and it's not something I think about very often. But it seemed like it needed to be shared under the circumstances.

the Lacrosse incident DOES INDEED fit this topic perfectly! Like I said there are men here who will agree with anything a woman says hoping to get the inside track between your legs. It is called a Sympathy Play.

That is not me. I am not going to agree with anything that rubs me wrong. And some of the concepts behind some of the arguments here are shallow, self serving, and fall short of being fair!

I got friends who are nudists, As in they prefer to not wear any clothing. Why is it I can be around naked women all day long and not be sexually aroused at all yet when one rubs on me the wrong way my little soldier (little? Yeah, as if!) is standing at attention ready for battle? First of all I have to hold the ON switch to my crotch to the OFF position becasue of all the sexually frustrating women I keep coming across.

First of all a mini skirt is nothing and means nothing. But the last thing I need to see is some women waving her pu$$y in the air and acting like a female fox trying to get all the males in the area worked up so she can get them all to service her. A lot of the problem is women present themselves like sluts and sometimes unintentionally but usually they plan it. Women THRIVE to attract attention like most men do. But how you wiggle the worm is what the problem is! Not the Bait itself!

So please read my previous reply so I hope you can see what I am saying with more clarity than others have...

Allow me to quote from the Movie Full Metal Jacket...

Private Pyle, I suppose you are the kind of person who would fucq a man in the a$$ and not have the courtesy of at least giving him a reach around!
-Master Gunnery Sergeant Hartman

How does this apply?

WELLLLLLLLLLL, the least you can do for a guy you just dumped the no word on a hand job to at least relive him of the frustration you just dumped on him.

OH NO! ALL I EVER EFFING GOT WAS THE CRYING GAME AND BEING CALLED A LOT OF MEAN NAMES WHEN I HAD TO STOP!

Please, I stood on the edge of raping a couple of women who actually broke the rules of conduct but at least "I" was the bigger man. But if I have to force myself on a woman I actually am wasting myself on a pig who does not deserve the pearls cast before her!

You act like cutting a guy off cold turkey is nice, acceptable, or your privilege. Whatever. Leave him and move on. Be honorable and don't act like we are machines. That would cut back on a lot of rape. If you are going to draw lines draw them up front. Most of the time women are under some impression they can invoke spontaneous changes on others and expect us to just go with those changes. Sorry but life itself does not work that way!

Sorry I don't do Sympathy. I sure don't want yours. I don't need it. When you have to live a life being treated like a bastard constantly and having people deal with me in bad faith on a daily basis, constantly being called upon when people only need me for something, living a lifetime alone even among others of "my own kind," and having women treat me like a beast of burden has molded me into the well rounded person you all see before you.

Sorry being honest bothers you so much. Would you prefer I lie?

Frankly I have become an a$$hole over the last couple of years and I really feel a lot better for it. I have been walked on by people SO Much I should change my first name to Welcome and my middle name to Matt. But now I cannot be perceived as weak becasue I am no longer "just being nice," like I was supposed to be to make everyone around me happy. I did so much to make other people happy I myself became miserable. Now I could care less.

At least here I am not a Hypocrite! I just have no sympathy for stupidity any more. ESPECIALLY IF THAT STUPIDITY LEADS TO PERSONAL HARM!

Also sorry of being Draconian bothers you. Actually why the hell am I apologizing? I am not sorry I am Draconian.

I see a lot of the NO MEANS NO argument being used as a means to empower women and give them dominion over men.

FOOLISH WOMEN, A FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIP IS ABOUT TRUST, COMMUNICATION, AND SHARING RESPONSIBILITY. NOT RIDING ON THE BACK OF A MAN LIKE HE IS A MOTORCYCLE.

The day you see handlebars sticking out of the back of my head I will agree totally with all of you. Until then get used to me being an opinionated prick!

if both a man and woman are drunk when they have sex, are they both considered unable to consent?

and did they therefore 'rape' each other?

I'm not justifying anyone's behavior. You keep trying to justify date rape, though.
