I was recently talking to some friends and they said they would never date anyone shorter then then so my question to everyone is ladies would you date someone shorter then you and men would you date someone taller then you?

Personally, I don't think I could date a girl who was as tall as me or taller. If she is taller than me in her heels, then I have issues personally. I know it is wrong of me to be like this, but well, I did date a girl who was as tall as I was, and when I saw her in heels, I wasn't able to stand it. I honestly do not know why.

I was recently talking to some friends and they said they would never date anyone shorter then then so my question to everyone is ladies would you date someone shorter then you and men would you date someone taller then you? I would typically skip over shorter men if given a CHOICE (like on a dating site), they arent 'typically' what I am physically attracted to I have dated one shorter guy though, set up by a friend, and he was GREAT,, could have gotten serious if we didnt live so far apart so, I guess I Have no absolute (asthetic) nos, as I Believe we can fall for people REGARDLESS of physicalities,,, my preference is taller, but love for me is not defined by the physical |

I am 5'8" and dated a guy 5'4". We had a great time together and his height made no difference to me; but however that is just me. I think good things really do come in small packages.

As a short guy (5'5", I shrunk an inch somewhere in life!) I don't mind dating taller women as long as we enjoy whatever we wind up doing.

It seems that I prefer tall women. I'm average height for a guy but several of my girlfriends have been my height and a few taller than me.

Height loss is a natural part of aging—some people start shrinking slightly as early as 30. Losing too much height too rapidly, however, can signal a high risk for hip fractures, spinal fractures and even heart disease, particularly in men, several recent studies have found. |

No, I would not date a short guy.
I will tell you why. They seem to suffer from 'short guy syndrome' and seem to have to prove they are not. Of course, anything can be overcome with personality, but I always avoid if possible. For those shrinking, gravity machine! I was always 5'2" then suddenly after a lot of back traction, I have been 5'3" for 10+ years now. I understand a gravity machine can also stretch out the spine, leaving you taller. |

I am 1.83 metres(6 feet) tall, and I have dated a woman slightly taller than myself, it did not bother me, but there was not a great difference in our heights. |

Well if you are 5'3", then 'shorter than you' is so very short! Talk about short guy syndrome. Wow. I've known a few short guys that don't suffer from the syndrome - they have adapted by cultivating a very real sense of confidence and self worth that seems to have deeper roots than most average height guys. |
