Just depends the person. Obviously someone who doesn't want to raise a kid ...might not want to bother.

if they are in public schools, yes. if they are homeschooled or a good private school... thats fine. also depends on the kid i guess.. trying to adopt one as we speak. .. actually.
my one regret is not getting someone knocked up. lol/hmmm/

A parent with a child who they didn't put first, would turn me away.

Probably, yes...Only because it causes undue tension typically, which only leads to failure anyway.

That and I hardly want my own kids if that time ever comes, much less somebody else's child.

when i met my ex hubby
my daughter was 2yrs old

and in fact shortly after we got together
he started claiming my daughter as his..

she 29yrs old now
and of course he doesnt claim her

and she wouldnt allow him to

she knows her real dad...

but if i was to have a relationship
with a single father...

if the child wanted to call me mom
thats up to them...
for im not going to push anything

but yet i would also like that child to know
who there real mom is

unless there was a issue about it

but i would love to help raise
that child like my own

I would like to ask a question here. If your wife/husband and your child were both in the sea drowning, and you could only save one, which one would it be?

My answer would be my wife.

I would put my wife first in everything.

Regarding having a kid, it would not turn me away if it were the right person.

Oooo...this is good Duttoneer. I like you :-)

Because tis a mothers natural instinct to save her baby first. So, in effect...you would be saving them both.

Child first as they are weaker and would have more trouble in the
water of the open sea. Wife would already be an excellent swimmer.
Then we should all be safe!

But on the airplane? Oxygen masks on the adults first. They need
more of it faster.

Despite having a children myself, yes it did.

I no longer feel that way although it would depend on the number (and ages) of children he had.
