The word perfect came from your first sentence.

And keeping with the topic of this thread, the behaviors I'm asking about would have to do with that. Surely, they aren't too numerous to mention

ok, so we are referring to sexual behaviors?

MSM activity which has an extraordinarily high susceptibility to passing along HIV/AIDS

promiscuous activity, which of course, increases the odds of spreading STD in general and the odds of creating life that is unwanted or terminated early on

activity highly likely to cause physical injury or risk, such as cutting, playing with fire, strangulation, asphyxiation, anal sex

these are some Sexual behaviors I feel would be worth correcting

well if this is the case the homosexual community will kill itself off in no time.

See b? I told you playing with fire was a sexual activity.

nope, high probability does not equate to extinction

just like in the seventies, when black men were MUCH MORE likely to be incarcerated,, it didnt result in ALL BLACK MEN being incarcerated

two different measurements,,,

I have a male friend who is gay and from what he has told me it is not a choice for him. He still does try to hide it from some people.

yes, the consensus WITHIN The gay community is noone chose their behavior.

Interesting that you chose the word behavior as you are correct. Looking up the word behavior says this meaning: behavior is believed to be controlled primarily by the endocrine system and the nervous system. It also goes on to say behaviors can be either innate or learned. So, to sum it up a gay person's behavior is innate which means existing in a person or animal from birth; congenital; inborn.

'is believed'
'can be'

it was once 'believed' in certain countries that black men had tails,,

and that gender roles could be 'innate' or 'learned'

that doesnt change that from the moment we CHOOSE to act, we CHOOSE the action,,,

I don't know many gay people with bad attitudes. Generalizing about an entire group of people doesn't work very well.

I have experienced that gay people have the same 'attitudes' as anyone else

some are the kind of people you want to be around and behave joyously and postively (my loved ones are this way)

some are miserable , martyristic, whiny, negative and constantly on the offensive,,,

oh my, the things I could share..lol

in earlier, more flesh driven days,,lol,,,,I researched quite a bit when considering this alternate lifestyle with my then partner and also while working as an operator on a 'sex' line to get a better understanding of some fetishes I might encounter

people fulfill their flesh in alot of odd ways,,lol

Tired of people telling me I chose this.

It's not a choice. I was born this way...

I agree that it's not a choice.

But, even if it was....who cares? You are entitled to your choice of partner just as everyone is. flowerforyou

yes, we are. But we arent all entitled to have the government legally REINFORCE, encourage, or support our choice.

I think peoples sex lives (adults) are their business as long as its in private. IF and when they want to / choose to make their business public or be DEFINED as a person by their business,,,,,they open it up to be other peoples business.
i 200% agree with the statement

Does lecturing people on god and that they should believe the way you believe actually work?

thats what I mean. here in a thread where several people hetero and homo are stating it isnt a choice, and ALL homosexuals are stating they didnt choose it

me making the assessment about the consensus I am viewing is met with CYNICISM and an accusation that I am trying to be an 'expert'

last time i heard you were bi.
if she is bi thats her personal business. all i am saying is shes not on this post telling everone about her life shes just commiting and posting i dont think you have the right to tell her business to everyone!

its cool, Ive shared it in other discussions and the fact that my inclinations dont RULE my behaviors. By definition, I have bisexual attraction, but I choose a heterosexual lifestyle.

Why care if someone doesn't like who you are? flowerforyou. They do not get to choose what you will do for the rest of your life. It's all up to you how you live it. Society can think they get to dictate all they want, but trying to control someone else is pretty damn silly, imo. Society are not in charge of the law, so that's enough proof that they don't own you. You owe nobody nothing. Some people just need a reality check and see that you are what you are.

tell that to the people on mingle who verbally annihilated a member after finding out who he 'was' was a pedophile. EVen though he had not hurt ANYONE in ages and he made an explicit effort to make sure no women with children contacted him.

they seem to judge his INCLINATION, even though he wasnt even acting upon it.

I doubt their hatred and discrimination would change even if it was proven pedophilic DESIRES (Cause desires are the issue , behavior is always a choice) were genetic.

I dont hate or discriminate individuals. I only have opinions about BEHAVIOR.

Did you really expect people to act differently toward a convicted pedophile? Not sure why this is in a thread talking about gay people, though, as there is absolutely no comparison.
yes! there is to a comparison you just have to make effort and use your brain. everyone to some degree judges people and behaviors its called life and also were pacular people but were humans from god. shes showing you how that guy was being judged by people, even tho he was convicted he hadnt done that anymore but he still got judged.
