Topic: Why Do People Get Married More Than Once

I was married for 22 years......single for 8, people change. Right now I think that I won't get married again but at the same time, If I find the right girl I think I will because Her mere presence will make me WANT to get married. That is how I will know I have found her. A little old fashioned I guess.

If you have a bad Experience why take the chance of repeating that same experience. I will Not get married again... we are never too good with vows,just like we have defaulted on our marriages what guarantees we wont default on the vow of never to get married. Tastes are different so are mistakes. Nobody deserves to be sad throughout,besides why bother to marry at an age above 50

I felt the same, I wasnt going to marry again, and wasnt open to it, but someone special came into my life, and has made it so worthwhile. I believe in marriage, and so what about popping your cherry, and marrying a few times. Im not idealistic. I threw that idea away that it is shameful to have more than one love in life, or soulmate througout life, or the idea that in retrospect it wasnt true love what I had because they werent the one. I have loved many deeply, and have had more than one soulmate, and If I gotta marry 1000 times to get it right I will. I derserve the ultimate commitment, and that close bond, and to be one flesh with another. I have become ready to move on, and am now engaged, and it feels good, Im not gonna let a few bad apples ruin the bunch. BUT I dont want a damn cheesy wedding is all, I dont want to be the virgin star in white, I dont want a bunch of people looking at me when I get married, I dont want to walk down an aisle. Just a lovely intimate ceramony between my honey and I. I want it to just be us. NO wedding ever. What a waste of money, and time. I say have a amazing vcation, and buy a house and a car.

I will Not get married again... so true.but i need a child , a mother for child , a family , a caretaker n homemaker , love n comanion for lyfe.how else to get it.i m marrying simply a poor maid this time so that it is manageable n peaceful.

Thats like saying IF,,I had a mild wreck in my first car,, a week after starting to drive, at 16, THEN,, SAY, I'LL NEVER DRIVE AGAIN!! ANY FIRST TRYED,,,HAS to have a second success? To be able to self PROVE you have that inner desire and strength to achieve it, within your own abilities. Or,,YOU fail yourself, the chance to be self confident in ANYTHING you ATTEMPT to TRY! just saying?
