Well I am not a man....but I will answer First off...they do not treat women like ladies because one of to reasons. 1. they did not get the example from their father or even their mother 2. women as individuals have allowed this to happen. Secondly..again they did not get a good example from their parents and they are weak minded and feel that have to enforce their power over us and last but not least....not many people in general truly knows what love is |

My ex girlfriends sisters boyfriend at the time was really abusive. When I was there, I was usually the only one stopping a lot of violence from happening. After a while of seeing how he acted and reacted, I can only speak from what I saw from him. That guy saw women as possessions and men as people.
I do agree with Mancho, I am very sorry you had to post this, and I do pray that whatever problem you are facing that is having you post something like this does get solved soon. |

Learn self defense, get good at it, and learn to use enough force to stop a situation and then get the F out.
I was sick and half dead when I was abused. THE SECOND I was strong enough to fight, I threw his azz across the room and put him on a bus back his brother or as I said "go back to hell where you came from!" That was 6 months ago. Haven't seen him since. |

I don't have any answers... but here are a my opinions.
Females have evolved from the beginning of human existence, males on the other hand don't believe they have any reason to. We basically believe that as long as we can physically dominate we deserve to (I use the term "we" only b/c I have the parts, not the mindset). The meaning of love is different for every individual. For me, it means self-sacrifice w/o expecting acknowledgement or reciprocation. By all means, that's not my definition for just a romantic love, but any and all types of love. |

Why does a man use his woman as a punching bag? Easy. Dude isn't a man. If he was a man, then he'd "man up" and not take out his frustrations or shortcomings on his woman. Only reason a man should ever raise his hand to a woman is if (A) a woman abuses him and he needs to protect himself (rare but it does happen) or (B)she is threatening his life. I know people may not agree with those, but if a woman is holding a gun to my head for no damn reason, chick is going down. Just saying.
Do I know what love really means? I sure do. And that's all I need to say about that. |

Yes men exist that way... however, us women have control... if you have self respect/esteem... you are in control of what you will allow to happen to you.
However..on that note... there are women who are guilty of that crime as well. Men just don't report it as much as women do. That is sad.

and the overall acceptance of immoral behavior and stereotypes. Rappers call women b!tches and hos, terms like bro before ho's. people laugh haha if funny but little things like that change are mindset. the sexes are portray as stereotypes everywhere you look and like anything else we become numb to it and accept it as the norm. I was reading a post on a social networks forum the other day, and argued with the 18 to 20 year olds that hitting a women is never ok, even the girls ganged up on me and argued that it's ok if she is acting like a b!tch or hits him 1st. TV shows, music, society in general projects an overall acceptance of this behavior. WHAT MAKES A MAN USE A WOMAN AS THEIR PUNCHING BAG Major Insecurities DO U KNOW WHAT LOVE REALLY MEANS? yeah, it's accepting someone in to you're life and accepting them for who they are, it's working together to better yourselves as team. it's being there for one another and give you're support no matter the situation. Love is giving yourself completely to someone with out losing yourself. |

I have met some wonderful men and some real jerks..
Some have treated me like a lady some havent. the question is, why did i stay with the ones who wanted to use me as a punching bag.. There will always be a mixture of good and bad in our world. I guess some of us should just learn to choose a little more wisely. |

The way I look at it if you blame the media,friends,family, and life. But when it comes down to it each person has the control to be who ever they are.
For those that blame the media...........quit watching tv and reading the newspaper.... For those that blame friends.....find new ones... For those that blame life......learn to do the things you enjoy more and realize life is what you make of it... For those that blame the way you were raised or your parents...it's time to realize you have control now. Your grown and live out on your own. Your life and the way you live belongs to you. Take it back and start living and doing things that you enjoy. Things that bring peace to your life. You don't have to travel the world, go out all the time, or have tons of friends to make you happy.. Find that peace within no matter if you find it sitting behind your screen. Find it and grab a hold of it. When you find that peace nothing else really matters As far as the question it is not just men, women don't treat men the same as they use to either. |

I usually do... or at least with respect and consideration to their feelings... not the biggest door opener for you in the world.. but I usually do these things even without making a conscience effort. WHAT MAKES A MAN USE A WOMAN AS THEIR PUNCHING BAG Usually leaving the kitchen without permission (though I have never had it happen before) My Mother can piss anybody off I kinda understand but she is my mother for the most part never really been tempted to hit though I am sure it happens ... prolly pressing buttons (saying the perfect thing at the perfect time)..not saying it makes it Ok though DO U KNOW WHAT LOVE REALLY MEANS? Sort of... I have had one gf and prolly loved her got very and I mean very goo goo eyed over a few girls and would have easily fallen in love with them ... very shy ... most likely to get a fairy tale type romance with me but it has not happened yet. Could hardly speak growing up... long story... studying programming and IT now and set up for astro physics .. very very busy with school right now

Interesting. So, tell me. 1. What is a 'lady'? They seem far rarer than finding a 'gentleman' these days. 2. What is the 'proper' way to treat a 'lady'? I ask the second, because, the interpretation of 'how to treat a lady' differentiates between each woman, each culture, and each race. Some exactly what terms are we to answer said question? WHAT MAKES A MAN USE A WOMAN AS THEIR PUNCHING BAG Hey, it could be any number of things. However, one thing is solidified. A man's hatred for a woman usually began at a young age and was forged BY a woman. Whether mother, or otherwise. It's usually some sort of trauma, like PTSD or some chit.
