Just curious if these "stick figures" are 21 and under? The last time I saw a woman my age with a stick figure was at the hospital. Most men want a woman with a proportional figure. Not twiggy nor BBW and there are plenty of variation in between. These are two stereo types that are popular but not real: 1. Men only want someone anorexic 2. Women only want someone rich These two only cause arguments between men and women and neither are, generally, accurate. Why are you speaking for most men? Try speaking for yourself and letting other men speak for themselves. Saying "most men" when giving your own opinion doesn't make it better or worse. A hip to waist ratio of 1 to 0.7 is universally accepted as very attractive world wide among men. There are university and government studies to substantiate this. As this ratio equalizes (waist becomes larger) her attractiveness decreases. Do men demand this perfection? No. However, when a womans stomach is as big or bigger than her chest it is considered unattractive. Yes, there are differences in mens preferences. Yet there are natural inclinations that have never changed throughout time. It's no different then women. Women have preferences that vary yet there are some that remain universal. Sorry, but I'm not going to go through life thinking that everyone will think exactly the way you do. I think I'll stick to finding out someone's personal preference, rather than go with a generalization. Works well for me :). It's a good thing that not everyone thinks like you.. haha Its actually too bad that more people didn't think like Singmesweet. She has a good head on her shoulders. |

I think we all need to look inside each other first. Get to know the real persom. I hope I can find someone like that. What a wonderful world that would make eh? I am with you girl but this is not human nature. There are but a handful of people that can see past a person's looks or body shape. When I was on dating sites and actively dating; I would actually spend more time chatting with people that didn't have photos. It gave me a chance to know them for who they are and not what they looked like. Yes, I did meet men that were overweight or not considered attractive by others butI dated them because I liked them for who they are. I even had so called friends say why are you dating him as he is not good looking. Of course these people are no longer my friends. |

 I do love how men these days consider someone as voluptuous and healthy as Marlyn still "fat." Please grow the phuck up. Real women, the AVERAGE woman really don't deserve this treatment. She was gorgeous! A girl friend of mine asked me recently if I would rather be with Marilyn or Jennifer Anniston - not even a question. Hollywood thin is usually emaciated and gross. Granted, obesity is not attractive either. To either extreme, people will judge based on what is commonly agreed upon by *sane* people to be unhealthy. When unhealthy weight problems are the first impression, you can't expect anyone (given that, at our core we are still animals and subject to instinctual drives like our less *intelligent* co-habitants of the planet) to ignore their honest reaction to you. That would be dishonest and fake. Granted, we are blessed with subjective reasoning (most of us anyway) and taste is absolutely subjective to a point. That being said, I like a girl with some meat on her bones - not unhealthy levels of fat, but healthy and beautiful. Average is sexy.

Truth is, everyone has their own preferences, and you are attractive to someone, no matter your weight. As long as you are healthy you should be happy with yourself. Not everyone will find you to be attractive, but that doesn't mean you're not attractive to someone else. Be you, be happy.
