I feel sorry for the male mind sometimes. What it must be like to live in such a vapid waste space. Its laughable what's considered beautiful these days.

Yeah funny how their minds work sometimes. The guys themselves are overweight yet have the nerve to make fun of an overweight woman. mad

That's cause men like themselves the way they are. Most anyway. Seriously, ladies should NOT feel so threatened. It keeps you from living and some good opportunities out there.

I don't think its being threatened; we just don't like being insulted because of our weight.

I have a question for the men out there. Does a womens weight make a difference to you? What do you prefer?

No it does not. A person is a person period. At the end of the day we all change, grow older, get fatter, get slower, etc... The inside, emotions and personality are what matter most. Obviously we all have types we are or are not attracted to and that is just the way it is. Personally I prefer someone who is interested in the arts, the ironic side of life, nature and exploring those things within it. But I admit liking the idea of someone who can go with me rock climbing, running, surfing etc...

Yep...it does.

Cause the second you think it is ok....then a few more pounds wont matter.......which IS true....But, you will make it past that few pounds....cause ya think it don't matter. But, there is a limit. (some people will disagree...they are wrong)

Let me ask this....how long should I wait before brushing my teeth?

Would you be cool with a couple of months before I give it a lame half a$$ed try?

I am betting "No".

If a person let them self go to schitt and just assumes that everyone is still supposed to want them anyway....I will bet my penis that they are American.

..i think altho i could be wrong, that different people prefer different things ..so ask a million people and get a million answers from which one has to discern who is telling the truth who is just

being nice who is lying and who are just rude //then from that you have to cull the pile ..and see who has the the things that you seek in a mate minus who is married the drunks the pervs the weirdos and on and on ..

..now by the time you get through this process and the years that it has entailed you're so old you get alzheimers and you forget what the hell you were looking for in the first place..ain't life grand.. ..jk..yea i've been single my whole life..

raider ever thought that maybe you're over thinking here by just a wee bit?

preferences are everything - I do have a problem with men who are so fixated on the visual- a woman being "thin" or large breasted, or a certain weight so that you could never tell if it is really YOU they want - or just what you look like

and really I am a reasonably attractive woman so I'm not copping out here

Ugh...

If the 'short' answer is so right..

Why are their soooo many married fat, sorry, 'overweight' people..
..and sooo many skinny people?

How's that for knowledge?

Not too mention..
Most divorces I've seen are skinny people..

Now to answer your question, so not to give in to such sexism..

NO.
It don't matter squat to me.

grumble grumble

Of course the weight matters. Are you happy being fat? If you are great. There are men who like their women big or volumptious or whatever the latest buzz word is for being fat. But most guys want a healthy woman. Not crack whore thin but a healthy weight. You know if you're a healthy weight or if you need to start cutting back on the calorie intake and getting off your fat *** more often. But don't kid yourself. Fat is ugly and unhealthy. And most people will have a hard time getting past your looks and will never get to know the person behind the fat.

So assuming you like yourself the way you are, resign yourself to being overweight and find someone who likes you that way. And don't worry about the people who don't find a big woman attractive. Can't blame people for what they find attractive or what they don't.

Weight to me matters personally. A little weight here and there wouldn't kill. But when i see a fit body I see health. And I want a healthy mate to be with.

It's all about preference. I'm sure you're speaking for yourself, rather than other men, though, so that's cool.

yes but the derogatory comments he makes are NOT cool -

it's possible to say that weight and body type is a preference without criticizing others

people who are overly obsessed with weight (like this guy sounds he is) are just as unhealthy - if not more so - than folks who are a few pounds over their weight

Most of these I just stand clear of,,because I have lost many friends on here with my answers that pertain to me.

I had some really BIG issues as a little boy,,and a REALLY BIG WOMAN
Embarrassed me,humiliated me,,had me screaming and crying,,in from of a group of twenty other people,,all drinking or drunk,,and I have never forgot that,,or felt a sexual attraction to a larger woman,,because of THAT...But also,,Most of my female friends in life,,have been and still are,,,very BBW....and I LOVE um to pieces,
But I don't date them...flowerforyou
So mine is a very personal,,issue,,inside me,,,not A REFLECTION OF A CALLUSED PERSON INSIDE ME WHO See's HEAVY as BAD,,

Oh, I agree that it is definitely possible to state preferences without being rude. Unfortunately, many people aren't like that. Just remember though, weight can be lost. The kind of attitude those people have tends not to go away easily.
