Topic: What War With Iran Might Look Like

Iran is clearly the target of choice, just as it was in 2007. Despite President Barack Obama’s assertion that he would open up avenues to talk to the Iranians, he has failed to do so, he has rejected Iranian initiatives to start a dialogue, and he is showing every sign of unwillingness to negotiate on any level. Congress has even moved to block any contact between American and Iranian diplomats. The sanctions that recently took effect against the Iranian banking system can be construed as an act of war, particularly as Iran has not provided any casus belli. Further sanctions that will restrict energy imports are impending and will bring the country’s economy to a halt. There are already signs that the Iranian government feels itself compelled to demonstrate to its people that it is doing something about the situation. That “something” might well be a confrontation with the U.S. Navy that will have unfortunate results. In light of all that, it might be useful to imagine just how war with Iran could play out if the Iranians don’t roll over and surrender at the first whiff of grapeshot.

Thanks for bring this to our attention.

First glance of the hook I found very interesting, then checked out the web link, again interesting, next goggled CNI.
Found CNI and CNIF have their own agenda and just maybe their own horse in the race, go ahead, Goggle "CNI" see what you think and want to believe.
Pulling the covers over or sticking ones head in sand isn't going to solve the issue just pass the buck and power to some incompetent to make the call. We all know how that's worked out for us all in the past.

I'm not calling for forcing a result.
Although Saying "Iran has never attacked anyone in 200 years.", I do recall when they (Iran) took over an embassy, guess one could have said In 1978 that'd never happen as well or is akin to saying in 1939, "Germany never held a holocaust".

All Iran has to do to avoid conflict with the rest of the world is to give up on having their own centrifuges to enrich nuclear material to bomb grade.

They have been offered multiple times pre-enriched material as well
as having others re-process for them both much easier and cleaner than
pursing the work themselves. But they clearly want to have the ability
to enrich to bomb grade despite having signed international agreements
that they would not do this.

And they lie and conceal their nuclear bombmaking activities.

All they have to do is stop their nuclear bomb making activities.
If they continue to insist on trying to develop nuclear weapons then
they will certainly be stopped by force. They have known this all
along. I don't feel sorry for them. They have made their own choices.
I do feel sorry for the innocent citizens of Iran who have to live
under the thumb of their idiotic theocratic militant Islamic rulers.

See after the lie about why the US Government invaded Iraq, alot of Americans aren't really gonna support invading Iran.So if the US government does invade it's time for Hippies to grab their bongs, sheets of acid, tie dye shirts and signs of anti-war,to begin the process of "Make Love Not War".

To save man from the morass of propaganda, in my opinion, is one of the chief aims of education. Education must enable one to sift and weigh evidence, to discern the true from the false, the real from the unreal, and the facts from the fiction.

And there lays the paradox, just like when you take a friend, extra ammo or track shoes along when hunting Grizzly Bears or Wild Hogs...knowing full well, both Bear and Hog can and will eat you, when you're caught...remember, should the gun jam or runs out of ammo, all you need to do is outrun your friend.

How's that for friendship?
