(check out the link and watch the video) Plan for the worst hope for the best...yet way to many, wearing rose colored glasses I dare think...Hope for the best and just don't want to plan for anything.

It never ceases to amaze me how the minds of the warmongers are so myoptic! Condemn a nation because a few are radical within it! By that token, every American should be imprisioned because we have a few Jeffery Dahmers or John Wayne Gacy's among us!

By "we", I assume you mean the the young servicemen and women you want to commit to another war to satisfy some lust you may have for it? Why not enlist if you want to see some action? If you want to talk it, WALK IT!

I worry every day with the growing tensions there now, the limited support. It is hard to curtail my displeasure and disappointment with some people.

My son is a helicopter technician, airframe and powerplant specialist, aviation electrician, he was selected to remain as an instructor. As far as not knowing what you have "given", I have stated freely MANY times my service in Viet Nam (to which you insulted me), and asked you to post YOUR credentials of merit to advocate war, and you refused! Newt the Grinch is a chicken hawk who talks war and never served, rides on his daddy's coat tails like that means something. Romney never served, Santorum never served, they will also NEVER get my vote! Perry was an air guardsman..... whoopie (but at least he joined) It seems you have something against servicemen and women, vets, and their families! Henry Ki$$mya$$ comes to mind.... Kissinger said pointedly that "military men were dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy." Sound like anyone we know?

There are reasons people do not enlist and they shouldn't be judged for that. Not to mention some people want to list but cant qualify for some reason(which there are MANY).

And they will admit it. Most don't want war, they enlist (or at least try) out of a sense of duty, pride, patriotism, and don't preach war out of respect for those who do make the cut! They honor them! There is no more draft....all volunteer..... you wish to serve or you don't! Nobody in their right mind wants war unless they have nothing to lose, or a war is declared for national defense....then the draft is reinstated!
