Jesus taught more then the 10 commandments. He taught 613 to be exact. But these two sum up entirely all of Jesus' commandments.

Matthew 22

37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38This is the first and great commandment.

39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

you claim that Jesus had 613 teachings but yet you only follow the two that generally every religion requires their believers to follow...you may as worship Satan he requires his followers to do the same

Jesus said if you love me you will obey me....following only 2 of his 613 teachings is clearly not a sign of Love

What other laws did Jesus give that is not followed when following these two?

if all it took was to follow two...then he wouldn't have had 613 of them ...

all i'm saying is that someone that claim that they loved Jesus and claim that he is their Savior and God would follow more than two of his teachings

since you believe in the Trinity at least try for three

oops thats right..according to Christian math...3 only equal to one

ok you probably have to shoot for 9 teachings

the 613 is in depth detail about what we are to do and what we are not to do. If you love thy neighbor as thyself you will not lie to them, you will not steal from them, you will not hurt or harm them in anyway and much more. If you love the lord thy God with all your heart soul, mind and body, you will not curse him, you will not obey a false gospel, you will not worship a false God.

Cowboy.. I believe you are trying or u would not be on here so much.

But if you really believe what you just said.. What gives you the right to change and proclaim a name the Messiah never had?..Blessings..Miles

And what exactly are you taking about? I changed no name of anything.

the same can be said about the commandments that as long as one do not place a God before God then it's ok not to follow the other commandments

if Jesus gave you teachings then you are suppose to follow all of them not condense them into two teachings that you yourself picked .....but then again my point was that only those that truly love Jesus would make this type of committment..those that didn't love him would make excuses not to follow all his teachings

Yes they are.

"Yeshua" is of Hewbrew origin, "Jesus" is of Greek origin. Both interpretations is referring to the same being, Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. I highly doubt Jesus really cares what translation one uses, what would be the difference? Still referring to the same being, still using the same name just in two different forms/translations.

Trying to keep the commandments will not SAVE

anyone.....

HOWEVER, AFTER one IS SAVED, one WILL KEEP God's Commandments,OUT

OF LOVE FOR GOD NOW....

because of the NEW NATURE IN that person now.

In other words,

God thru the Power of His Holy Spirit is now LIVING in that person's

heart now ...and the Holy Sprit now works IN and than THRU that

SAVED person now, thus ENABLING him to follow and KEEP God's commandments.

In other words, it is GOD THRU THE HOLY SPIRIT INDWELLING THE

BELIEVER ,THAT IS WORKING IN THAT BELIEVER'S LIFE NOW.....AND

HELPING HIM TO DO GOD'S WILL... AND NOT THE SAVED PERSON DOING

IT ON HIS OWN.

BUT Trying to keep the comandments in order TO become saved ,is

false teaching..... simply because without being saved first,

trying to keep God's commandments by our OLD dead nature, is

all justdead religious works.

UNTIL one is born again(regenerated), keeping all the commandments

still will NOT bring salvation....or PLEASE GOD!!!

cause it is ONLY by believing and recieving the REAL

JESUS of the bible into our hearts, are we ABLE TO BECOME SAVED....

and ONLY ONLY ONLY BY GOD FIRST

DRAWING AND CONVICTING US OF OUR SINS AND OUR NEED FOR JESUS AS

OUR SAVIOUR... AND THUS BRINGING US TO SALVATION ,ARE WE ABLE

TO BECOME SAVED...

AND NOT OF OURSELVES.

SALVATION IS NOT OF OUR OWN DOING ....EVER !!!!

GOD IS THE ONE ,WHO THRU THE POWER OF HIS WORD, IS ABLE TO

BRINGS FORTH FAITH IN US TO BELIEVE IN THE FIRST PLACE.... SO WE

CAN BECOME SAVED.

FAITH COMES FROM HEARING AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD.

NO OTHER WAY !!!!

NO WORD HEARD??

THEN DON'T BE SURPRISED IF THERE IS NO FAITH TO BELEIVE EITHER!!!

IF ONE HEARS NO WORD BUT JUST MAN'S OPINION OF THE WORD ON HERE???

THEN NO FAITH TO BELIEVE WILL EVER COME!!!

ONLY THRU HEARING AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD WILL FAITH COME.

No it is not. Takes both faith and works.

James 2:14-17

14What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

15If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

16And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

17Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

BUT Trying to keep the comandments in order TO become saved ,is

false teaching..... simply because without being saved first,

trying to keep God's commandments by our OLD dead nature, is

all justdead religious works.

yes, true. If there motives behind their action is just to save their own butts. Their actions would then be in vein. If we automatically keep the laws after we are saved, we would not have been informed of them. Would then be irrelevant to be informed of them if we just automatically keep all the laws once we have given our heart to God.

all i'm saying is that someone that claim that they loved Jesus and claim that he is their Savior and God would follow more than two of his teachings

since you believe in the Trinity at least try for three

oops thats right..according to Christian math...3 only equal to one

ok you probably have to shoot for 9 teachings

the 613 is in depth detail about what we are to do and what we are not to do.

Thier was never a J sound in Yahshua's time.. You say you love him yet you deduce he did not mean 1 name when Yahshua was given instead you use j-sus.. why? what gives you the right to give him another name?

I don't give him another name. Names are different when translated from one language to another. In English someone's name may be Gregory, but in Spanish it's Gregorio.

No thier not..

Tell me one famous leader that we say thier name differently than it sounds in thier own language?

Yes they are.

"Yeshua" is of Hewbrew origin, "Jesus" is of Greek origin. Both interpretations is referring to the same being, Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. I highly doubt Jesus really cares what translation one uses, what would be the difference? Still referring to the same being, still using the same name just in two different forms/translations.

who says? You.. NetanYahu. Mikel Gorbachev.. Those are foriegn to our language.. yet we say them in thier language. No one in the world calls Obama a different name.. Names are sounds.. TONGUES ARE A SOUND.. Transliteration is different than translating.

To Translate a language and to Transliterate a Name are to different things altogether.

Who says we can give the one name under heaven another sound as in name?

If someone was to say my name is Gregorio, they would not be lying. In the spanish translation of my name Gregory, it is Gregorio. Names don't change meaning because they change language.
