I, myself, have no hopes of any real help from someone that asks an obviously stupid question.

Prove to who?

Yourself?

Eh?

I thought I explained that?

Like what?

What would a psychologist say?

I did it to prove I could do it; basically, just to do it?

A suppressed, yet lingering childhood memory had been sparked, or reigniting upon seeing this phantom from your inner suppressed self?

..or maybe a rabid chipmunk jumped down from outer space from his Nut Rocket 3000. Whispered in my ear, 'Key Dee Car'. And I was proving to this furry lil bas**** that I could do it because my ego/arrogance wouldn't permit me to turn down a bet?

Oh, or maybe, just maybe..

It was that voice in the back of my head that always gets me in trouble. Shut up! Or I'll Q-Tip your a**!

......?

I'm so important that I can't be bothered with reading this entire thread. So if any psychobabble points have already been pre-established, then forgive me.

- You seem to blame this whole situation on the girl's boyfriend. Which is fine, a lot of people play the blame game. But... you can't really blame other people for your actions because you're the only one in charge of those, no?

Eh, while your idea is sound.
I'm not 'blaming' him for my actions.
I did what I did.
I was prepared to accept consequences if their was any.

That wasn't the 'question' itself at hand.

I was just wondering, basically, if I had overreacted.
And it turned into something entirely all together different.

It then became something not even worth re-mentioning.

End of story.

Exactly what planet do you live on? Are laws written teaching people to be responsible for their own actions.

Is anyone taught in school that the definition of a thing determines what may or may not be predicated of it?

Or even, like this very website, that lays down rules, as if they have authority to control information about yourself?

I think we have a case of the pot calling the kettle black here.

Predicated of?

You're blaming.

Wisdom comes with age, grasshoppa.

At 30 I think some kinda ethical behavior would be present.

You miss the point.

We live in a world culture were every one enforces the idea, that we live for God, for Country, for this, or for that, and then, when they do something just as stupid, you say, you are suppose to be living for yourself.

Take me, for example, watch this,

yes you waaay over reacted

it was his place to protect his woman

and he prolly worked damm hard to buy that car

don't ever do that to a mustang - that's inexcusable - I'd rather have a mustang than a man....

that's destruction of someone else's personal property for which you need to pay to fix

end/

..protect his woman?!

Oh give me a break..

The day a shocked expression followed by the words, 'Excuse me' is taken as a threat..

..the world needs to be destroyed.

Furthermore..

I don't even look 30, let alone 'Old-Timer' age.

Disclaimer - Blaming the World and/or modern society for your problems is not only completely irrational, but somewhat disturbing.

... indifferent

I thought I was slow.

You are taught, from childhood not to take responsibility for your actions, and in fact, never taught what you are.

I am that, and I live for that.

Society molds psychology. If you want to change psychology, teach people what they are and how to do their job as mind.

otherwise, you display one thing, and say another.

So...

It's my fault the war started?
It's my fault there's poverty everywhere?
It's my fault the ozone's effed up?
It's my fault Iraq sucks?
It's my fault for hurricanes, twisters, and typhoons?
It's my fault this happened on the news?
It's my fault that happened on the news?

...Who's being irrational?

If you think those 'aren't' my problems.
You're mistaken.

My relatives live in Kiev, Russia; suffering from some of the worst poverty and conditions. I never want to visit there again.

The war claimed two of my best friends. Two are still over there.

I had a friend in Japan, taken out by the whatever the freak you call it.

The ozone? Psh. Need I explain that.

You want ME to take blame for all that?

In case those are too 'broad'..

It's my fault my grandfather died of cancer, as a non-smoker?
It's my fault the system of child support exists?
It's my fault I'm slightly in debt because of #2?
It's my fault ....

Actually.. I'm tired of even mentioning things. I could be here for days listing my 'problems'.

So, eff it. I'm irrational.
