The Jewish Lobby is considerably more powerful, far more pervasive, and consistently more deceptive than any other. And even though the movement for Israel has been operating in the U.S. for over a hundred years, most Americans are completely unaware of this movement and its attendant ideology – a measure of its unique power over public knowledge.

It is not as if Israel is a close ally. The Israeli regime spies on America incessantly. Its forces have killed and injured numerous Americans with impunity. And Israel has repeatedly stolen US technology and passed it on to other nations, some of them America's enemies.

Yep.

They are not our friends.

Israel is a valued and reliable American ally in the fight against terrorism....so say the majority of American people.....

Really? I doubt that.

The problem with that statement is you haven't sited any surveys to support it.

The other problem is that the statement sounds like canned propaganda from the Zionist's media machine.

My personal experience is that most people I have talked to that weren't evangelical born again Zionist Christians, aren't too trusting of Israel.

There are tons of them Jennie....You can google them yourself ya know...I can't get my tinyurl to work, but I'll post this....

Majority of Americans Favor Israeli Stand on Terrorism

13th September 2011

More than two of every three Americans (68%) agree that it is reasonable for the Israeli government to insist on an end to suicide bombings and other acts of terrorism before making concessions to the Palestinians. Only 19% view this as an unreasonable pre-condition. The rest gave some other answer or had no opinion.

This is one of the key findings from a May 7-11 national survey sponsored by ARNSI, the Alliance for Research on National Security Issues.

The survey asked: “Israel has insisted that suicide bombings and other violence must stop before making concessions. Do you feel that this is a reasonable pre-condition or an unreasonable precondition?”

Within all political segments, a large majority agreed that a cessation of the violence should be a pre-condition: Democrats (66% agree), Republicans (79% agree), and Independents (67% agree).

Commented Dr. Gary Tobin, Executive Director of ARNSI: “Regardless of party affiliation, Americans understand that suicide-terrorism has to stop before any progress can be made at the bargaining table. Americans do not believe in rewarding terrorism or making concessions to terrorists.”

Israel also continues to be viewed as America's ally: 63% in the latest poll call Israel “a reliable ally of the US in the fight against terrorism,” while 22% do not, and the rest did not venture an opinion. The 63% figure is slightly higher than the 60% who saw Israel as an ally in a similar poll taken in January (21% then disagreed).

The proportion viewing Israel as a reliable anti-terrorism ally increases with increasing education: those who are not high school graduates (54%), high school graduates (59%), persons with some college but less than 4 years (65%), and college graduates (72%).

The findings cited above come from a poll conducted by the Alliance for Research on National Security Issues -- a joint project of the Washington-based Foundation for Defense of Democracies (www.defenddemocracy.org) and the Center for Security Policy (www.centerforsecruitypolicy.org). The survey interviewing was performed by TNS Intersearch (U.S. headquarters in Horsham, Pennsylvania) a leading polling firm that does work for ABC News, The Washington Post, and others.

Surveys are usually always biased. The question asked does not seem to explain what "concessions" they are talking about and assumes that there are on going "suicide bombings etc." going on.

Second, if cessation of the violence is a precondition, then Israel should also cease all violence.

also the statement that "Americans do not believe in rewarding terrorism or making concessions to terrorists.” is probably true, but these same Americans have no clue who the terrorists really are or what Israel has done and is doing that they don't hear about, and if they had even 20% of the real truth, they would all be anti-Zionists.

Also, given that we are deluged with A Zionist dominated Media that 63% is only slightly over half and not very impressive. In fact, I would call it pathetic.

So I'm not impressed with the survey at all and I don't believe it in the slightest.

The Israel Lobby has targeted every sector of American society for manipulation; worked to involve Americans in tragic, unnecessary, and almost catastrophically costly wars; dominated Congress for decades; determined which candidates may be contenders for the U.S. presidency; promoted bigotry toward an entire population, religion and culture; caused Americans to be exposed to escalating risk; and then exaggerated this danger (while disguising its cause) to foment irrational fears that are enabling the dismemberment of some of our nation’s most fundamental freedoms and cherished principles.

The Israel Lobby is just the tip of an older and far larger iceberg known as “political Zionism,” an international movement that began in the late 1800s with the goal of creating a Jewish state somewhere in the world. In 1897 this movement, led by a European journalist named Theodore Herzl3, coalesced in the First Zionist World Congress, held in Basle, Switzerland, which established the World Zionist Organization, representing approximately 120 groups the first year; 900 the next

The reason that Zionism is the Jews worst enemy is because people confuse the two.

Most Zionist also claim to be Jewish. (Not all Zionist are Jewish.)
There are many misguided Born Again Christian fundamentalists who are pro-Zionism. (Hence Zionists)

Millions of Jews are anti-Zionism and they claim that Zionism is heresy and that the State of Israel is "illegitimate."

Because of this confusion between political Zionism and being Jewish, people get the impression that anti-Zionist hate Jews.

That is ridiculous in so many ways. But the Zionist movement does nothing to dissuade those ill gotten conclusions. They encourage the separation of Jews from everyone else and they are the cause of what people call "anti-Semitism" (which is a racial slur.)

The Zionist are enemies of Jews who do not support their political movement and will sacrifice them in a heartbeat and blame it on others then scream that they are "persecuted."

Jews and people who claim to be Jewish who do not support political Zionism whole heartily need to realize that Zionism is their worst enemy.

If you do support political Zionism and you are Jewish or call yourself Jewish then you might consider moving to Israel. Of course you will be forced to serve in the military and so will your children. That is a requirement.

While in the military you will be ordered to participate in the ethnic cleansing of Arabs and the Palestinian people.

Israel's claim to the land is by way of "conquest." In other words, they invaded, bombed and took control of it.

There was only one place the Jewish State had to be - and that is where it used to be - Israel!

While Zionists considered such places as Argentina, Uganda, and Texas,5 they eventually settled on Palestine for the location of their proposed Jewish State, even though Palestine was already inhabited by a population that was 95 percent Muslim and Christian, who owned 99 percent of the land.6 As numerous Zionist diary entries, letters, and other documents show, these non-Jews were simply going to be pushed out – financially, if possible; by the sword if necessary

Hardeharharhar!
How could there be a Constitutional Amendment during the Civil War,when the Union was in Pieces?

Besides, since they were Citizens, they had every right to weigh in on the Issue,if it were one!
