What I thought was interesting in this article was this:
His son recently gained notoriety for issuing a religious ruling forbidding Jews to rent or sell real estate to non-Jews anywhere in Israel. and this: But Jews were leaving because “people didn’t want to live next to Arabs.” Clearly those Jews are practicing racial and religious bigotry and prejudice. |

Rachel Corrie R.I.P
Its not just Rachel Corrie As for Israel's war crimes in Jerusalem, the West Bank and especially Gaza, the racist regime uses American weapons in violation of US laws, killing and maiming huge numbers of civilians, women, and children. This endless killing spree, funded by American taxpayers and shielded by the US government, has caused a burning hatred of the US throughout the Muslim world. Britain, as America’s and Israel’s BTICH, is also feeling the heat and putting herself in peril. |

It is not as if Israel is a close ally. The Israeli regime spies on America incessantly. Its forces have killed and injured numerous Americans with impunity. And Israel has repeatedly stolen US technology and passed it on to other nations, some of them America's enemies. Yep. They are not our friends. Israel is a valued and reliable American ally in the fight against terrorism....so say the majority of American people..... Would that be the same majority that were opposed to the War in Iraq that Dick(SO) Cheney ignored? 80% CNI The majority of Americans – as well as our diplomatic and military experts – oppose this unique relationship. |

And Israel has repeatedly stolen US technology and passed it on to other nations, some of them America's enemies. Yep. They are not our friends. Israel is a valued and reliable American ally in the fight against terrorism....so say the majority of American people..... Really? I doubt that. The problem with that statement is you haven't sited any surveys to support it. The other problem is that the statement sounds like canned propaganda from the Zionist's media machine. My personal experience is that most people I have talked to that weren't evangelical born again Zionist Christians, aren't too trusting of Israel. There are tons of them Jennie....You can google them yourself ya know...I can't get my tinyurl to work, but I'll post this.... Majority of Americans Favor Israeli Stand on Terrorism 13th September 2011 More than two of every three Americans (68%) agree that it is reasonable for the Israeli government to insist on an end to suicide bombings and other acts of terrorism before making concessions to the Palestinians. Only 19% view this as an unreasonable pre-condition. The rest gave some other answer or had no opinion. This is one of the key findings from a May 7-11 national survey sponsored by ARNSI, the Alliance for Research on National Security Issues. The survey asked: “Israel has insisted that suicide bombings and other violence must stop before making concessions. Do you feel that this is a reasonable pre-condition or an unreasonable precondition?” Within all political segments, a large majority agreed that a cessation of the violence should be a pre-condition: Democrats (66% agree), Republicans (79% agree), and Independents (67% agree). Commented Dr. Gary Tobin, Executive Director of ARNSI: “Regardless of party affiliation, Americans understand that suicide-terrorism has to stop before any progress can be made at the bargaining table. Americans do not believe in rewarding terrorism or making concessions to terrorists.” Israel also continues to be viewed as America's ally: 63% in the latest poll call Israel “a reliable ally of the US in the fight against terrorism,” while 22% do not, and the rest did not venture an opinion. The 63% figure is slightly higher than the 60% who saw Israel as an ally in a similar poll taken in January (21% then disagreed). The proportion viewing Israel as a reliable anti-terrorism ally increases with increasing education: those who are not high school graduates (54%), high school graduates (59%), persons with some college but less than 4 years (65%), and college graduates (72%). The findings cited above come from a poll conducted by the Alliance for Research on National Security Issues -- a joint project of the Washington-based Foundation for Defense of Democracies (www.defenddemocracy.org) and the Center for Security Policy (www.centerforsecruitypolicy.org). The survey interviewing was performed by TNS Intersearch (U.S. headquarters in Horsham, Pennsylvania) a leading polling firm that does work for ABC News, The Washington Post, and others. |

Allahu Ackbar! BOOM! it's allah hu akbar..and it means god is great |
|
|
|
No, it is "Allahu Akbar" and it doesn't mean "God is great". Allah doesn't mean "God", it's the name of the Muslim god, just like the Jewish and Christian name for God is "Yahweh". Allahu Akbar means "Allah is greater". There is a reason that is a war cry, it is the Muslim proclaiming his god to be greater than yours.

Yes, and each time the terrorists lob a Katusha, Grad or Qassam into Israel that is what they yell as that rocket launches directly into the civilian population indiscriminately maiming and killing. |

One could make an argument that it was the Zionists killed Rachel Corrie.
But five or Six will agree there is no argument...so I will give that a miss. Rachel Corrie was raised in America to a high moral standard and in going to Palestine was appalled at the condition the people were living under. Mary Robinson when President of Ireland witnessed the same thing and said so at the time. She was supposed to carry out what Goldstone eventually did. Mary would have given a true report and not being a Jew would not have bowed to pressure like Goldstone who is a Jew. No Reflection on Goldstone. Not nice being called a self-hating Jew |

While many people are led to believe that US support for Israel is driven by the American establishment and U.S. national interests (an analysis that benefits Israel and is particularly promoted by Israel partisans and former partisans), the facts don’t support this theory. The reality is that for decades U.S. experts opposed Israel and its founding movement. They were simply outmaneuvered and eventually replaced.

Like many American policies, U.S. Middle East policies are driven by a special interest lobby. However, the Israel Lobby, as it is called today in the U.S.1, consists of vastly more than what most people envision by the word “lobby.”

MYTH
“The United States has supported Israel automatically ever since 1948.” FACT The United States has been Israel's closest ally throughout its history; nevertheless, the U.S. has acted against the Jewish State's wishes many times. The U.S. effort to balance support for Israel with placating the Arabs began in 1948 when Truman showed signs of wavering on partition and advocating trusteeship. After the surrounding Arab states invaded Israel, the U.S. maintained an arms embargo that severely restricted the Jews' ability to defend themselves. Ever since the 1948 war, the U.S. has been unwilling to insist on projects to resettle Arab refugees. The U.S. has also been reluctant to challenge Arab violations of the UN Charter and resolutions. Thus, for example, the Arabs were permitted to get away with blockading the Suez Canal, imposing a boycott on Israel and committing acts of terrorism. In fact, the U.S. has taken positions against Israel at the UN more often than not, and did not use its Security Council veto to block an anti-Israel resolution until 1972. Perhaps the most dramatic example of American policy diverging from that of Israel came during the Suez War when President Eisenhower took a strong stand against Britain, France and Israel. After the war, U.S. pressure forced Israel to withdraw from the territory it conquered. David Ben-Gurion relied on dubious American guarantees that sowed the seeds of the 1967 conflict. At various other times, American Presidents have taken action against Israel. In 1981, for example, Ronald Reagan suspended a strategic cooperation agreement after Israel annexed the Golan Heights. On another occasion, he held up delivery of fighter planes because of unhappiness over an Israeli raid in Lebanon. In 1991, President Bush held a press conference to ask for a delay in considering Israel's request for loan guarantees to help absorb Soviet and Ethiopian Jews because of his disagreement with Israel's settlement policy. In staking his prestige on the delay, Bush used intemperate language that inflamed passions and provoked concern in the Jewish community that anti-Semitism would be aroused. Though often described as the most pro-Israel President in history, Bill Clinton also was critical of Israel on numerous occasions. George W. Bush's administration has also shown no reluctance to criticize Israel for actions it deems contrary to U.S. interests, but has generally been more reserved in its public statements. |
