Until about 36, I was still carded for alcohol at clubs. About 36, I got recognized as a grown up. Though at 40, most people guess younger and can't believe I was married 16 years. My ex husband who is bald and only a couple years older got called "cradler robber" a lot.

Humm as far as dating well guess using lotion really paid off on my face for now I'm dating a guy that is 12 years younger then me....

So no it has not hurt my dating life even though it has been a while since I had one guess it paid off waiting in the end.....

I guess we look the age we are.
Because that is what we are.
Looks are SO subjective.
I would never say I looked younger than I am.
How would I know?

But, one time I nearly got arrested because
the copper asked for my ID down at the beach.
He was annoyed I had none.
I said, I live 3 houses down, why would
I carry ID?
He said, 'Tell me your age, FAST!!'
I related my birthdate and he ran it.
He came back and said 'Ah HAH! I knew you
were lying! No way you are that old..'

But I was.
He got pretty embarrassed trying to
prove otherwise.
So, I am guessing he thought I looked younger.
But the numbers track us.

I get told I look anywhere from 7 to 10 years younger then what I am. But I think I look my age.

Yes I truly THINK I look close to my age,,fifty anyway..
and THATS through the many who have said both at times..

NOW,,,, do I ACT my age MOST TIMES, ,but does my abilities make others question my age,,yes,,I am lucky enough to still be in, almost all actions,,the man I was at 25,,
No health issues and still as limber as I was then,,many men can't say that...hell,,or women,,,,

As for dating,,,THATS RARE,,but I have seen the times change much,,and almost ALL the women forty-something? Want younger men NOT OLDER MEN...and THATS just a sign of the times and how life has changed as to dating preferences.. lol
FEW ladies seem to want to date men older than them,,when there past forty,,,most will take YOUTH over QUALITY of a man,,least THATS been MY WITNESS TO SEE?

Most would place me to be in my late 30's which is not bad considering that I recently turned 43.

The fact that I no longer see meeting someone as being the bee all and end all of my existence has probably had more of an affect than my age

I look much younger than my age, but probably act older, an old soul. A bit weird to have teenagers still eyeing me, when I know we're lifetimes apart maturity wise

I guess most people think I look younger than I am. I am a juvenile delinquent down deep inside.....and it's what's inside that really counts.
