I definitly look younger and I think it does mess with my dating life because I am looked at like I am still a little girl. I have actually been carded before they would ask me out. If that doesn't say looks young I don't know what does.

when I was young I was told I looked older. then as I started getting older, 40's and 50's, I was told I looked younger. nobody has said anything in the last few years so I guess I probably look my age...

I'm often told I look about 10 years younger than I am.......and, I think I do when I'm not tired.





It's gotten weird, at times, for instance, when a 30-year-old friend of mine has tried to hook me up with some of her single friends, who are close to her age...........

I think I look my age, but that's not saying much since I'm only 19. I don't mind being told I look a BIT older or younger. I guess that will change as I get older.
And as for this ruining my dating life? I don't date.

I don't know...I have some wrinkles, don't have that skinny little waist anymore, but oh well. I have a young personality and I am just me.
The only date I know of, I put in the Christmas candy I make for friends.

To me age is a number. It is to me more of a matter of where we relate to others. Oddly I like doing things I used to do as a kid. I was a rock hound all my life. I still am not afraid to get dirty or sweaty. I still have to do a hard day's work but I do try to avoid that more these days. I would rather goof off at the tide pools than be stuck at home or earning money. I feel like Andy, not 46. And as far as my age vs. appearance, I look like I am in my low to mid 30s by what others tell me.

When I was younger I was told to quit lying about my age and that I was a kid pretending to be older. It has messed with my dating life quite a bit.

If people don't know me, they think I'm much younger than I am. Seeing as I don't tend to have much interest in younger men, this isn't always a positive thing. A few weeks ago, in Las Vegas with some girlfriends, a couple of guys guessed my age starting at 23.

Once a person gets talking to me, they typically up the guess on the age and put me at five or so years older than I really am.

BTW-- it's not necessarily a compliment, when at 29 I'm being told that I look good "for my age."
