I ain't sure how much more I can shorten mine down.
"I put out" seems to encapsulate what I stand for. |

Yep, I am not impressed with that. I feel one needs to cut the crap and just be themselves. Sometimes it can be a bit too much. JMO |

Terri I'm not sure that I've seen these long romantic speeches that you're talking about. I normally see very short profiles that say they're laid back, like to cuddle and to hit them back if I want to know more. |

The profiles that I have browsed tended to be ridiculously short. I can’t remember ever coming across a long and romantic one. If I were to come across a profile that was longer than two paragraphs, I would probably pass out in shock.

a well written profile is appreciated, regardless of length
a profile that manages to keep my interest with each sentence,,whether there are 2 or 20 is impressive |

They didnt do anything for me..
I just love an honest down to earth profile, I just wanted to know who the person was, what they liked and if they had a sense of humour.. |

Some romantic profiles seem fake so I don't like them and some you find genuine and hearty, so at least for few minutes makes me appreciate the writer ...

But be careful you may not pass out, you may actually die of shock.. It is one mighty long profile, just make sure you have a few days to spare. But he is definately interesting and amusing, Just most of us are wiped off his list in the first few paragraphs. Not that thats a bad thing cause you know exactly where you stand, so its a pretty good profile |

There are male profiles out there that are long?
Seems like most in my area, are almost non existent. OR They ramble on about what they don;t want. Most don't give you enough to pique your interest. |

A profile is only a door. The person behind that door is found on the forums in part. The real person may or may not be found on the site depending on how open they are and if they let you into their life. Meeting someone, well that's a different story, and living with them is a galaxy away from meeting them.
Loving a person though, that can be done from any and all angles. This is a test of your heart and has very little to do with theirs. |

I would guess it's better than, "no answer, no answer, no answer,
ask me". But not by much. |

Humm myself I enjoy reading the profiles that actually have something to say within them. Regardless what it is.... Cause when it comes right down to it one can write anything they want too....Actions are louder then words......
You never know a man that is romantic can be a great one to have around......And even a plus they can admit that is what they like but they are very much of a man as well... |

I've never read a long (excluding Lex's), romantic profile from a guy. It's been a long time since I looked though.
I guess it would depend on what was written as to whether or not it would grab my attention. |

I wrote an honest profile once taking about how I was a man ho and wanted to tap all kinds of scattered azz....and man...the female reponses to that profile was EPIC!

I actually have the "short version" up now, as an experiment....it's only a few paragraphs. But at some point, I plan to put the 1400-page monstrosity back up.... |
