If you can't get away with lying and saying
you are slender, you admit to a few extra.
You can ride this to stocky.

I think its SUPPOSED to be between height/weight proportional (average)

and OBESE, which starts at 20 percent over ideal body weight

so someone that SHOULD BE 140 pounds, who is actually 168 would be mildly obese

and if they were 140 , they would be average(not average in relation to population)

and between 140 and 168 would be 'a few extra pounds'

I have found it's different
in most womens minds. to some
a few is 10, to others it's
100. it's just how they preceive
their own bodies.
to most men, it's a few, like
a handful, as in 5 or 10.

Based on my own personal experience, it means "less than 900."

true

I know a diet would not hurt me

but I also am always dieting and am never satisfied and always trying to lose 10 lbs

that may not ever change. I used to have right on my profile that I was not going to be for a man who is looking for skinny...I have photos now insteadlaugh

waving Usually a few extra pounds are anywhere from 5-10lbs. That's what the majority of women think as a "few extra". Sure looks are important to a degree and sure it would be nice if we were all "Barbie dolls" or "Ken's", but isn't it's what is inside the person that counts, their feelings, their thoughts, compatibility with the opposite sex!!!

It depends;

In some cases it may mean they still haven't lost that, "freshman twenty".

In others it may just mean definably not "Barbie".

And in some it may mean a rather large basketball with legs.

For those worried about how much someone weighs, ask for a full length picture before meeting. That will give you a better idea of what they look like.

I always choose the "few extra pounds" option when filling things out on sites like these... but thats because the ones that would mean bigger always make it sound like your someone who would end up on Murray or who would need to have the wall ripped out of their apartment in order to get out...

I admit that i have WAY more than a FEW extra pounds... but i dont want to classify as something that sounds gross, because i'm not...
