No more off topic discussions please. Let's try to remain focused on unconventional ways to impress women.

It takes all types, no two people are the same. What may be one woman's "style" may not be another's. Taking this into account, there cannot be correct statements made for the general populace such as "all women prefer [blank]." I have known dominant women, I have known submissive women. Women who truly prefer jack-a**es and women who prefer someone chivalrous. This is why it's so important to actually listen, even if it's not face to face.

That, and it doesn't help to know the type you're looking for. If you're a guy looking for a women who is more caring, then don't waste time on girls who want you to treat them like crap.

I can truly say that women don't really give nice guys the time of day though. I can be nice and get treated like dirt. It's only when I behave like less than a gentleman, that women appreciate any kindness I offer.
Im a female and unfortunately this comment is pretty much on the mark with general population. Sorry to say chickys but whether u wanna admit it or not..fact of matter is majority of women want a man thats dominant and u dont get a dominant nice man. There just no such thing!!Woman that r with a "nice male" generally end up cheating or leaving sooner than when they r with an AHOLE.sorry but true :)
Thank you. I was brought up to be a gentleman, I just quickly learned that most women want to feel like a predator is hunting them.

You have a right to your own view of humanity, however simplistic. I just think it applies to the real world. It's not that I don't listen, it's just that I realize few women are even honest with themselves about what they really want. I want a caring person, I just don't want to feel suffocated. Most women probably feel the same way. The problem is thinking that someone is either a jack*** or chivalrous. There are many magnificent shades of grey in between.

Oh, I realize that there are shades of grey. Several, in fact. I'm also not doubting that there are women out there who want abuse. It's sad, but likely true.

Just like I realize that not bending over backwards isn't the same as abuse. I'm just saying that the stereotypical nice guy approach will do you no favors. Unless you want the stereotypical nice girl and who really wants that?

Keep in mind, the stereotypical nice girl never puts out without a ring on her finger.

Well, I can't speak for all men, but for me "putting out" isn't everything. And some couples have different views on marriage/fidelity.

Dude:
I think your sense of humor is a little subtle for some here. I'll play....I like it when a man makes a really offensive comment and then call me "up tight" when I don't laugh (especially at work). Or guys who don't open doors or offer to help carry things or take out the garbage (ever) because they don't want you to feel like you're being discriminated against for being a woman. How can you be "fairer" than that? Or ooh, ooh, talk with your mouth really full, because you just can't wait to respond to her interesting comment or question. bigsmile
Those things really impress ME,anyway.

Well, I'm impressed. You sound like a keeper. Where do you stand on the whole monogomy issue?

Do you really not care about sex, or are you being politically correct. Sex isn't everything, it's just 50%.

Wear a shirt that is just FULL of holes that you've had since high school? What says "commitment" more than your loyalty to that shirt?

Haha, yeah... I actually cannot remember the last time I bought new jeans. I just keep patching up the old ones. I'm an art major, so I've plenty of supplies to do so laugh

the best way is to simply be you...if that doesn’t work, be Brad Pitt!
