Job approval 47 approve 44 disapprove Yet july is the first month that a poll said they would rather vote for a GOP canidate than Obama 44 39 That last part could be because they didn't know who all was going to run. I mean its only recently people started really announcing they will run. I think smart people wont just say they are gonna vote for any republican just because they are not Obama. |

I hear a lot of anti Obama talk on the streets though and from people I would not expect it from!
I think Obama might be done! |

I have a cousin who is a liberal nut job and she ranted on and on about why people should vote for Obama and got my aunt to vote for him and she strong armed my uncle into voting for him and today she thinks he's a worthless POS so to say he is done is an understatement IMO. |

Don't count Obama out....lol
I see the blue bumper stickers that cost 3 bucks to support his campaign all over the place. People are like me, I think, they are not happy with everything Obama has "not done because of his compromising nature" but they know the alternative will ruin this country for all future generations. So they are not bragging about it but their vote is going to be for him. |

The mood on the left is strong and clear. I can guarantee that a major portion of those disapproval numbers are from people who despise the righties and are furious with Obama for selling them out. Righties should not be getting the idea that they are in good graces with the country.

I so love how Obama's poor performance is explained by the Righties fault now!
That is just too funny. I guess track record of failure doesn't count aye? |

Righties should not be getting the idea that they are in good graces with the country. I disagree. I think the numbers are from independents that were promised change and didn't get it. There is a chance he could lose the independents. They will determine the election. If he can keep them he will win. If not he could lose. |

Next time I move I am going to register as independent as I don't consider myself republican as far as the modern definition seems to be. I am really just anti big government. I could see myself voting for a right wing democrat over a right wing republican depending on where they stand with things. It is just democrat candidates are usually pretty far on the left side and that is kind of opposite of my thinking though now plenty of republicans are big government but just for different things. I hate the lesser of two evils thing. |

Of course you do. You could not be expected to know what the landscape is unless you are on the inside listening to liberal voices. The sound is deafening. In the end, millions of people are going to be stuck with the dilemma of choosing a President who has failed to fight for them or taking some other path that would allow a right-winger to become President. I don't think there will be much of an appetite for taking that risk. |

Bloomberg reports that since World War II, no U.S. president has won re-election with a jobless rate above 6 percent--apart from Ronald Reagan in 1984. The unemployment rate is currently 9.2 percent, and polls show the economy continues to drag down the president's approval rating.
Today's report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates that there was virtually no job growth in the month of June--shocking news given that economists had predicted a modest bounce based on earlier reports of a robust uptick in private-sector hiring. Just 18,000 jobs were added last month, according to the report. i'll be so glad when he's gone... |

I hate the lesser of two evils thing. I must agree. I would vote for a democrat if they made sense and wanted responsibility, not lend a helping hand at our expense to every god damn cause out there! Now Obama is a Democrat. he lied, he performed horribly. He fed tax dollars to save big banks with Bush when he should have let them suck the same dick we all are being forced to suck. It isn't about being a Democrat why I hate Obama so much. He is a charlatan! He has his lips wrapped tightly around Banking and Global Corporate dick. He is their boy, not ours! And his track record proves that! |

I hear a lot of anti Obama talk on the streets though and from people I would not expect it from! I think Obama might be done! I do to, he has ridden this Osama Bin Laden thing out and his poll numbers have dropped monthly. There will have to be a major act of god or war for him to be re-elected again. |
