Why do guys do this?
They pursue then make a date email back and forth to set a day, time and place....then they don't show-up....WTF Is it just me or are others perplexed by this phenomenon? |

Does this mean guys are also becoming fickle minded these days?!
Anyway, you may wanna give them a "...next!" attitude, Lili_M It's their loss not yours. |

It's just so irritating. To go to the effort and they don't have the courtesy to keep the date that THEY made.
Oh I am so on to the NEXT but... I guess I am just looking for a reasonable explanation for why? |

I'd say obnoxious people just do what they do without any reason at all. Your profile shows you as an interesting woman, I don't see any particular reason why a decent man would not keep a date with someone like you.

Well thank you Rose.
But really I don't think it's me.... But I just don't know what it could be. |

Because at the really big "guy" meeting that we all have before one us goes out on a date, we told him that he shouldn't go because he had the reputation to keep. I mean...if he would have shown up, then us guys wouldn't be known as no-shows would we.

Perhaps, after thinking about the meeting, he didn't want to meet you. Maybe he was trying to make a date with several women, and one he preferred more said yes, but only after he made the date with you... so he stood you up to be with her... maybe he's a wimp, and left to meet you but could not show up. Maybe he was lying to you about who he was and/or what he looked like and did not want to face the music... who knows, only he knows - but you are likely not going to get an answer from him. You are trying to get a logical answer to an emotional thing... forget about it and move along... nothing to see here... p.s. I am sure women do this too.... *sigh* $.02 |

Why do guys do this? I cannot even imagine this scenario. It would seem to me, that you need to build up a little more 'want' in your dates. So they would rather lose a testicle, than a date with you. |
