Jeanniebean, when you disobey God, what are you doing? You are separating from Him. First you separate; then, you disobey. I deal with causes, not effects. "Sin" bottom line, is defined in the Bible as disobedience to God. If you want to discuss "separation from God" in general; that is another subject entirely. As for your question above, which assumes that I "disobey God," the advantage of unbelief is that I don't believe in "sin" at all, nor do I believe in the same concept of God (or sin) as you do so the question is irrelevant. |

"Hell is a myth, a man-made concept that has zero scriptural support..." What??? How many verses would you like to back this one up? Just one would suffice... http://bibleencyclopedia.com/hell.htm |

Just one would suffice... http://bibleencyclopedia.com/hell.htm It doesn't really matter, a person can still regard it as a myth. I have known people who claim to have been there. |

Anything can be considered myth to a person. It is up to that person and what he/she wishes to put faith in as being true. One can think Abraham never lived, it's all a myth. One can think Adolf never lived, it's all a myth. ANYTHING can be seen as a myth to a person, it is up to that person and what they are willing to let be true and have faith in it being true. |

Adolf??? Hitler??? I'm quite sure everyone will agree that he lived. Abraham, well that is quite a different story. |

No not everyone, I do not believe he existed and I do not believe you can prove he did anymore then I can prove to you Jesus is the only begotten child of God. |

I have pictures. Even movies. I have history books. To suggest that he did not exist is ridiculous. Of course what can't really be proven is how he died. Some say he lived to the ripe old age of 85 in South America and died in 1995. Of course that probably can't be proven. |

People much smarter and much more educated than you have not been able to come close to proving that, so stop kidding yourself. |

Evidence all revolves around how much credit one is willing to give the evidence. |

I do regard "hell" as a myth... And it does matter. It is one of many lies about what is written in scriptures. So, you know people who claim to have been to a place that doesn't exist? interesting... |

You may be able to convince a child of 5 if you are lucky. So good luck. If you are not interested in learning anything yourself thats your business. Have a blissful life and be well. |

yep. At the very least, they were convinced they were in hell. There may actually be places under ground that could be mistaken for hell. I've heard stories about slave caves in Africa.... |
