I think I am looking for the impossible. A guy with the 'John Wayne' Factor. Not necessarily the cowboy type, a guy who believes in hard work, knows how to be sweet, but not be a wussy and can stand up for himself. Someone with a sense of respect and honor. Most importantly, someone who knows how to kiss a lady when she desperately needs, instead of another fight. 
That's definitely not me. But I am trying to become the spokesmodel for the "Arrogant Narcissistic Conceited Jerk Who Is Also Complicated And Intimidating" factor. |

Be careful what you wish for. In real life, Wayne was rather abusive. A book on Wayne, says that is why he preferred Hispanic ladies, they accepted his actions better than american ladies.

Hello i am new to this and my typing is good but my fingeers do not obey. Dating is not different than living, if you live every day the same as yesterday the days feel the same without change. at my age I find finding ways to help others gets me into situations that introduce me to like minded people that sometimes can become friends but always ,even if they have no personal agenda, seem friendly to say Hi and to share the moment.
I hope I did not interupt, just getting a feel for the community and tring to join in.

Never did like John Wayne.
And the men I know exactly like him are alright to know, but most definitely NOT who I would date. I wouldn't want to deal on a daily basis of anti-equality sorts, women should wear skirts or dresses, and are unable to do anything serious. |
