Topic: Are men really intimidated by educated women??? | |
---|---|
I see many graduate student women concerned about finding a mate before finishing their degrees! Many believe having a master's or doctorate makes it more difficult to date.
I have never really sat and pondered this...so, what are your opinions? my first thoughts are that this would attract more serious men rather than the players, but what the heck do I really know? LOL |

It certainly isn't a problem with educated men.

Some men are intimidated by women who have more degrees, have better jobs and who are paid better. It tends to be guys who are insecure who feel this way.

ONLY,,if in sharing time together she was like,,,
now turn ten degrees to your left, stop, ok, now down 3 and 1/4 inches more,,NOT 4 INCHES,,ONLY 3 1/4..AFFIRMITIVE? Then,,yes,,THAT WOULD BOTHER ME!! If THEY FEEL THEY HAVE TO CONSTANTLY CORRECT ME,,that would bother me....or THEY HAVE TO ALWAYS BE RIGHT,,YE,,thats not cool.. Other than this above,,,NOT AN ISSUE with me... |

I think a problem arises when the intelligence of the woman butts up against the alpha male ego. Intelligence tends to negate dominance.

I never thought about it either and I never had that problem. I think if they really like you, then they would, regardless.

Speaking candidly...regardless of education some women are just "*******" on the other hand some men are just "********" Thus the question, does education simply augment the above qualities...? |

seems to me the same men are out there regardless, so i would say their education has changed how they see themselves and what they are looking for. in that respect, that could narrow the field down for them. players come in all genders and education levels, as do non. but, in the end, there has to be chemistry and compatibility, regardless of education, nothing can compensate for that. IMHO.

Education makes no difference. It's common sense that counts.

I don t think they are intimidating at all.
With a guy who had not attended college before might though. I would have felt a little disadvantaged by dating a graduate. Now that I am half way to my degree I would not see it the same though. |

Education makes no difference. It's common sense that counts. Unfortunately, many don't seem to have common sense. |
