I joined it as a dating site but didn't discover the forums or pay any attention to them at first

not sure I will meet my next sweetheart online - hasn't happened yet...

I don't rule out meeting someone here tho - but anything good starts out as friends so I stay to chat on the forums and enjoy so many of the members - if something else happens, great! If not, that's OK too

I joined with the hopes of meeting somebody (I have no idea where an adult goes to meet people in the real world. Work's off limits, I'm not going to school anymore (classes are online), bars kinda suck (at least the ones I've been too) and it doesn't seem likely that i'm going to bump into Mr. Right at the checkout line of the grocery store).

I visit the forums because it's fun.

I enjoy reading the forums. Sometimes they can give me insight into things through other peoples' perspectives. Other times they're just plain FUN to read with many types of humor.

I have no idea how I found this site, I think it was on facebook or something. I figured I would just see what it was like as a dating site (which most of them online are not worth the space they take up on the web). But then I ran across the forum here with a good group of people with (some) interesting conversations. Although I am new here so far it seems pretty cool... And hey, if I meet someone on here that is local then that is even better but I am not holding my breath...lol.

I think I posted in 2007..I never made a habit of it as I found that there are many people that are quite private and will not date someone that has made a habit of posting in a public forum. For me though, I will do as I please, and I also found that in the past few years I really didn't date anyone from this site anyway.,,,This evening i came to see what people were saying and if there was something interesting to discuss or "someone" that might be interested in chating or spending some time.
