Hello back, Eileen, and hi to Jon. I may have been misleading in my prior post, so i wanted to clarify a couple of things. If the persons profile reads "last seen over a month ago" then it's a safe bet, the person is not in stealth mode. If there is no indication of "last seen" then the person is likely using stealth. All that being said, many people turn stealth on or off, depending on their mood (just an educated guess) Just like many times, i will go invisible on my YIM.. you guys do see the correlation, right? If in advanced, or basic search, you happen upon the first account not seen within thirty days, then any account after that will also be inactive. In this case, you may want to broaden your search criteria. Simply put, these are things we have to take into consideration, in determining our deactivation process, and subsequently, the reason for the slowness of the actions we take. We have far more pressing issues, so this is not a priority for Mingle2, at least for now.

To meet ladies on here. For the first time I checked the 'on line now' button. Dudes, pages and pages of dudes... With a few roses scattered amongest them. How is one to be noticed amongst the babel of the herd? Does it show stealth mode people on there?

If you use the stealth mode, you don't show up as on line.

I know, bulldog, that there are a lot of last seen a month ago on both men and ladies profiles. I have a feeling that when you are doing a search and don't see women online it might be because they are using the stealth mode. I know I use it because I got tired of checking out a man's profile just because I was interested in something he said and then get bombarded with emails from him yelling at me because I looked and I am taken. Or worse than that..... getting the ones who told me he could make me "forget" my man. I saw that management is slowly getting rid of the older profiles but it will take a while. And therein, lies the answer. The majority of users prefer stealth mode. The last log in date will only apply to those who are active, and are not using stealth mode. Stealth pervin...woot woot!!!

I am just guessing that most of those dudes are just pervin profiles. Seems like a 50/50 chick/dude split in the forums. But, more likely, it is a sign from above that you cats should switch teams and leave the chicks to me. Oh, don't give me that look! It will be okay bro. I won't judge you. I know you tend to post in the lower threads, where more deep thinking goes on, and in my opinion, most people stay away from them because they often get volatile. Many come onto the site to get away from arguments and want to have some fun. I am in no way telling you to be someone you are not, just offering an explanation as to why you may not be getting noticed. (Although I think they are crazy for not noticing you.) I agree with this! You're a smart, good looking guy.
