Topic: OK Admit IT!! (haven't done this in a while)

It's kind of a "guilty pleasures" thing, AND kind of a "catharsis" thing. I so hope that this qualifies as "General Discussion"!!!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------- -I still always weep at the "Dad you wanna catch" scene of the movie "Field of Dreams".........AND at the "World I Know" video from "Collective Soul". -I ......ONCE!!!!!!!......let the "C" word fly when I was 17. My girlfriend at the time...LAYED ME OUT over the hood of my car with a right cross. (I DOOOO NOT!!! condone violence!!!!!!)...but I SO deserved it!!! -I "REALLY DO" want World Peace!!!! The Notebook had me bawling too There is only one movie that has moved me to tears.....takes a lot to do this (in terms of movies..lol), and that was The Notebook!!!!

The ending to Peter Jackson's version of Return Of The King still gets me, also when I hear Art Garfunkel's Bright Eyes come on in the animated movie Watership Down. i loved that movie when i was younger. watership down is one of my bookcases' staples.

guilty pleasures.... when im home (by which i mean texas)my favorite guilty pleasure is skinny dipping in the middle of the night at the beach or sneaking into one the major hotels pools in the dead of the night...but im only guilty if i get caught i like to play hookie from time to time to just spend the day lazing out in the sun with a good book ice chest of beer and my dogs playing in the yard. i also will do this once each fall when the weather starts to change and will open up the bedroom windows and and slip between the nice cold sheets nude and take a nap. i love the warmth of the sun and the feel the breeze throughout the room on those days and to me there is no other kind of sleep that compares (and i have tons of trouble sleeping and hold any good snooze in high regard). and also once each spring to spend the day gardening. i never quit smoking. i just quit letting it rule my life. i still from time to time wake up in the middle of the night and go sit on the back deck and enjoy a cigarette before going back into bed. when i lived in the texas hill country i would float the rivers on sundays because im a river karaoke fiend. i highly reccomend it

Movies that always make me cry... Mask, Cher gets me every time The Notebook, I want to be loved like that All Mine to Give, a widow dying of cancer must find homes for her children before it's too late. This one requires a whole box of tissues! Confession... I think James Garner is just as sexy old as he was when he was young! That man always was and always will be YUMMMY! Confession... I want to be thrown around and dominated the way John Wayne does to Maureen O'Hara in The Quiet Man, that is truly sexy! Confession... I cry during Undercover Boss, it gets to me when the guy in the suit finally realizes how much work most of us do for so little money.

I ate popcorn for dinner I had a slice of pizza (that I didn't make)...and two chocolate buscuits for dinner! I guess I never pictured Aussies eating pizza :-) I know we are all supposed to throw seafood on BBQ's...hilarious! Usually I make our own gourmet pizzas...with garden fresh produce...but am moving house at the moment...so did the local gourmet vego pizza from a friend's cafe....very guilty pleasure!
