from a bi female I believe in christ as my lord and savior, but that is more than just a script or a quote to recite which saves you by believing in him, I have to believe in what he taught and I have to be always trying to live by the example he set and the words he preached as well as the laws instructed by his Father and Mine I love analogies so here is the closest I can come,,, If I understand and have knowledge of the police and their authority, that doesnt keep me out of jail, its only RESPECTING that authority that does that I think its similar with not only accepting Jesus and the authority of his word and the biblical word but respecting and adhering to it isn't that a contradiction? |

I'll add here that I have a sister and 2 ole friends from high school who are lesbians...I have at least a dozen gay friends (is a lot for Utah) and they are all wonderful people.
I think those who make fun of gay people, put them down, call them evil, sinners, and make derogatory remarks about their life style choices are just bullies!!! Their lives are so ****** up that they can't deal with their own issues so they take it out on other people. Gays make a good target for a coward!!! jmho

I think it will depend on the heart and soul and the motivation in ones life, which noone can truly know but God. I dont see why a person who has engaged in homosexual activities cant be saved just as any other type of sinner can but I dont think empty words without action(faith without deeds) is something looked upon very highly by the Lord. I cant, for instance claim to accept him as saviour, but refuse to try to stop stealing, or lying, or committing adultery or fornicating,,,, |

I want to clarify in this thread that my position is not to bash any person, that as a christian I believe EVERYONE sins ,,,that is my faith that noone is perfect, imperfections(character and behavior) are usually sins,, so that is something that actually makes us all equal and which makes it illogical for me to feel superior or inferior to anyone else.
I am one who separates the sin from the sinner. I do believe in sins, I dont believe sinners are evil or inferior or any thing other than the same imperfect human that I am. I just hope for sinners like me to WANT better choices and a better eternal future for themself by not willfully and pridefully continuing their sins. |

i guess, from what i'm hearing, straight people are not allowed to have an opinion about gays either.
there sure is alot of do's and don'ts when talking about gays now. would someone mind writing all this stuff down, because i sure wouldn't want to hurt someones feelings. |
